We Go To Dive Bars is proud to include Stanley's among our favorite bars. We visit frequently to enjoy an icy cold Miller Lite and one of the greatest achievements in the hot sausage sandwich of all time. This establishment is very precise about the way they serve these sandwiches. From the manner in which they prep the sausages and onion to the way they grill the sandwich roll, all on an old flat top griddle, it's magical. Be aware, there are no peppers and the sandwich does not suffer for their absence. The onions are cooked slowly to maximize their natural sweetness and they complement the sausage perfectly. Stanley's is a real old school place with dedicated local clientele. They allow smoking so if that bothers you maybe try and order your sandwich to go. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. One of us orders the capicola sandwich as well. It comes with a vinegar coleslaw that is said to be sublime. Stop in and have a beer and a bite and follow WeGoToDiveBars on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and...

The secret ingredient is the friendliness of the bartenders and the patrons. The prize was buying their legendary Hot Sausage Sandwich grilled with no sauce and covered with onions and peppers, (you could also order cheese on it too) on a bun that melted in your mouth allowing the taste of the sausage patty and the onions and peppers to tantalize your taste buds. We topped it off with an order of delicious perogies smothered in sauteed onions that also tantalized your taste buds. All in all it was a great meal that I recommend sausage lovers everywhere to travel...
Read moreStanley's is famous for their hot sausage, and they are excellent. Add their other menu items, and its a great place to eat. I particularly love their reuben sandwich. Well worn and dated atmosphere, the entire bar and table area isn't that big. 20 people and would be packed. Just like most bar/restaurants there is a clique, but don't let that stop yourself from enjoying the handmade menu you can watch them make on the grill. Stanley's has been there forever and suspect will outlive us all. The staff is always friendly and is worth an...
