This was my first time visiting this restaurant. It smelled like somebody used the bathroom and was on a detox or something… my initial thought was to leave immediately but I understand ppl can’t help their digestive system.

Needless to say, I asked the guy that was working up front what was the smell and I specially asked was it in the water/sewer line. He ensured me it wasn’t so I proceeded to order my food (since they had good reviews and nobody mentioned it in the reviews I read prior to me deciding on that place for supper).

Pros: That was the best rice and peas I’ve had from a Jamaican restaurant in years. The jerk sauce, was amazingly delicious as well and the cabbage was flavorful and cooked to perfection.

Cons: I have never gotten a veggie plate for $11 or $13 and felt so cheated. Normally places put the rice in the long open section of the box and the other veggies in the smaller compartments. The delivery of the food left me disappointed (see the picture. Looks like it was thrown in the box) and was not plated with love/care, & the cabbage had an after taste … also, that smell.

I will try them again, but if it smells the same I will leave without ordering any food. I will also advise them of my expectations from what I mentioned above to make sure they can accomplish it before...

Update: 4/26/2025. The food here is good. I stand by that. However, I just went on door dash to place an order and Oxtails & Curry Goat are not offered. That makes absolutely no sense to me. Very disappointed. I just had surgery and cannot drive yet. This makes absolutely no sense to me. Every other Jamaican spot in the surrounding area offers their entire menu on DD. I'll spend my money somewhere else.

Finally a Jamaican restaurant that makes me proud of my heritage. I walked into good Jamaican music playing and was greeted with a smile by a gentleman. Sometimes I don't feel like cooking so when I decide to spend $30 on a plate of oxtail I want it to be delicious! And I want good customer service. This little place offers it all. I will definitely be back. I used to frequent Fireside, but they've really gone down. I don't mind driving a few extra minutes for good food and good service. Keep up the good and positive work...

I have grown accustomed to still being disappointed even after good reviews and be thinking; these people must can't cook so they eat anything. Yet, there is always an exception to the rules and this is just that exception. I wasn't expecting for Everything to be just as described. I am a truck driver and often rely on others for their opinion of food. I absolutely loved everything. I got the jersey chicken medium with cabbage, peas and rice with plantains and a side of collards just to see if I liked them. Also a slice of pound cake. All of that was only $33.00 delivered. Seeing that it's just around the corner from my terminal; you have definitely gained a new customer and someone who will recommend you to no end. Great Job. I will now venture to the ox tails. The chicken was just to try the...

If you're in Atlanta and craving authentic Jamaican food, look no further than Everything Irie. This spot has quickly become my go-to whenever I'm in Georgia, and for good reason. The owner has done an incredible job creating a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere that makes you feel like you've been transported straight to Jamaica. The flavors are bold, the ingredients are fresh, and the service is top-notch. My absolute favorites are the oxtail and greens. The oxtail is cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and packed with rich, savory flavors. The greens are equally impressive, perfectly seasoned and a great complement to the oxtail. Every visit to Everything Irie is a delightful experience, making it a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy the best Jamaican cuisine in Atlanta.
