Due to a work contract nearby I went here 3 times in one week. #1 I called in a pick-up order of the Ciabbata-bing and they said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I arrived and they said they hadn't started it yet so I had to wait. Overall the sandwich was good although a bit lacking in protein, on par with the amount of meat you get at a Subway. The "cup" of soup I got, the tomato basil, was barely a cup, maybe 4 ounces although it was really good. #2 I came in and ordered a sunrise quesadilla with pulled pork. I took it back to my work site and when I got there I found out that they forgot to put in the pulled pork. So I had to drive back and get my pork. Thankfully they gave me a free meal card to make up for their error. The meal was really good partially because I got a lot of extra protein because of their mess up. #3 I redeemed my free meal card and ordered a Hot Shot with double meat and a bowl of soup. I also ordered barbecue sauce on the side instead of on the sandwich. They put the barbecue sauce on the sandwich instead which I didn't find out until like got to my work site. I decided I had enough of their mess ups and didn't want to deal with it. The bowl of soup was more like a cup, 6-8 ounces, and was ok. The sandwich was decent but not spectacular. I tried really hard to like this place, as evidenced by going there three times. However, they have a lot of kinks to work out, until then I doubt I will return. On top of that, for what you get for the price it's just not worth it, you might as well go to Subway and...
Read moreI'm not going to 5 star this because it's a small café sharing space with a corner store gas station, so it's not an optimal dining space, but the food is absolutely great. They do breakfast and lunch only, so it's like a small diner, but as I said, everything on their menu is delicious. Also, they have a rewards program punch card. Buy 9 of anything they make, and the 10th is free. I say buying 9 of anything made my them (such as breakfast burritos, bisciuts, croissants, etc., because even if it's too early for them to be open, you will still be able to get credit for purchases of food made by the Green Light Café at the gas station register. This place is...
Read moreI have officially gave up on my efforts to try to make Green light work for me during my lunch hour. Last year they had amazing staff portion size was great and the food was good. Attached is a picture of there half portion sizes they are almost empty containers. It is not worth the $10, I like to support small business and that's why I go there instead Panera or Spoons. However, I will no longer be supporting this business. Also, I just finished by salad and there was a hair in it at the bottom, I am so disgusted. That done broke the...
