August 24th 2023 at 12:30 p.m. I ordered two bacon cheese double Whoppers and all of the bacon on both of them was completely raw my wife ended up eating half of her Burger before she noticed and she is almost 8 months pregnant. This is unsafe for anybody especially a pregnant woman. I am very upset I spent almost $25 for lunch and got raw food.
I made a complaint and got this.... Howard Radford of US Aug 27, 2023 9:20 pm EDT It's safe to eat raw bacon aslong as it got hot. Bacon doesn't necessarily have to be crispy to be considered cooked. It's already cured so it just needs to get hot enough to kill any bacteria that maybe on it. Meats often taste better using raw cooking where you aren't trying to cook the meat but simply killing the bacteria in it.
My reply. So you're telling me the 48 hours that my pregnant wife was throwing up and had diarrhea from food poisoning after eating at your establishment is perfectly okay with you? Also raw meat is ok to eat, so you're going to serve raw food to anybody as long as it gets "warmed up". You didn't resolve any issues and you didn't apologize.
Another rude response from this person. Howard Radford of US Aug 28, 2023 6:47 am EDT Replying to comment of John E Hayes You really going to trust what you read on the internet. Now I'm not exactly saying that the information you found is false just misleading. The website you noted did not go into the specifics on what they defined as raw. Typically they don't go into specific because they presume your understanding of the work raw is never even touched a hot pan. It didn't go into flash frying where you get the pan probably around 500° and throw the bacon on it and barely let the color of the meat change before taking it out. I think you need to get your facts straight and find better sources to quote. I have regularly cooked my bacon this way and never had a problem. Your wife's throwing up maybe psychosomatic or as you say she is pregnant. Anyways I'm pretty sure bacon at Burger King is pre-cooked. It like a bag of bacon bits you would get on the shelf in your grocery store. I very much doubt they are cooking bacon on site, just throwing it in a microwave.
My reply. I'm a butcher going on 18 years now and know my meat products probably better than you. But how rude of you to continue to argue with me instead of apologizing and fixing the issue. And this statement that you made is an absolute joke and quite frankly rude as F**k.
"bacon this way and never had a problem. Your wife's throwing up maybe psychosomatic or as you say she is pregnant. Anyways I'm PRETTY SURE bacon at Burger King is pre-cooked".
You shouldn't work in the food industry or customer service because you Howard Radford are a despicable human being. And my reading and sending you a screenshot of what I found online was just merely to let you know there's multiple sites multiple people that everybody will tell you bacon raw is not good whether you warm it up or not. Raw meat is not good. You'd rather me believe you and take your word over what I read on the internet? Who are you but just a person who has been disrespectful, rude and confrontational. I will be reporting you and Burger King to the Better Business Bureau and...
Read moreThis truly is the epitome of absolutely horrible... We tried to be loyal customers here, but this was the last time. First it took a good 5-10 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge we were even there.
Literally not one person in the dining area. My 7 year old boy, was wondering around , climbing on chairs and just being a kid. The manager said "If he climbs on the table I'm asking you to leave" , I truly thought she was just being playful, because my wife and him were in such a playful good mood.
Then , she looked at him and said "I'm serious, you guys have to leave if he climbs on the table again" (I did not see him "Climb on a table") , but honestly, even if he was, she made him feel like he was doing something awful, my wife did exchange some profanities with her for making him feel that way, which granted probably not the correct response, but that was absolutely asinine to talk my kid like that, there wasn't even customers in the store, it's not like he was disturbing anyone, it was past 9:30 and we were order 6, so I guess that says a lot anyway.
Well, The food is pretty awful, we just go here because the boy loved to go there, but this place is not setting good standards for what good customer service is. There truly wasn't a real problem besides my child acting like a 7 year old, but a real customer service (especially the manager) could have handled it differently, maybe even flipped it and made him smile. (gave him a crown or something and tell him to behave himself).
He loved this place, now it literally scares him. Obviously will never come...
Read moreI have come to this Burger King for the last 6 months almost every other day and I will never be back again. While taking a bite of my hamburger a large, thick, black, hair was exposed, cooked into the meat. The manager Isaac, who has seen me multiple times and I have never had a complaint, literally looked at me and told me that it could not be a hair. He then proceeded to pull it out of the meat. It was long, black, curly, and over-obviously, a hair. He looked at me and I said "that's a hair obviously" to which he replied "well I don't see how". He threw the whole thing away and just stared at me with this "well what do you want me to do about it?" look on his face. Not until I mentioned something did he even bother to offer me another sandwich (which I had already lost my appetite at this point) and when i said "no" to the sandwich, he stared at me some more, until my husband who was on the phone with me said "why don't you get your money back?" So to Isaac I asked, "may I at least get my money back?" He acted as though this was a problem and like he was annoyed by the fact that I wanted some sort of compensation because I just spent my good money on something that was absolutely raunchy, that his restaurant served. It's sad because I have a good friend who works at this place, but I will never again be back. Bank on that! I am severely disappointed...
