Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Fort Dodge

I'm giving a 5-star to this place for a couple of reasons. I am live in Spencer, Iowa and I have always liked Domino's pizza, unfortunately we do not have one in my town. My nephew is going to college in Fort Dodge and I stopped here cause I wanted pizza. Well I ordered pizza for myself and for my nephew to have some food since he is in college around 7 pm as I was getting gas in a town about 50 mins away and would pick it up when I got into town. Long story short I get there around 8 pm and my order is not ready and I am having to wait a little longer, no problem I can wait. From the looks of it they had a massive order come in after mine and were swamped trying to get it done. No problem I know how food places can get their backsides handed to them.

Well they get most of my order together but come to find out they don't have the boneless wings I ordered, so they ask if bone in would be fine and I was like yes that's fine. Well I wait a little longer and get ready to pay for it and their terminal was done so my card wouldn't go through. So they go in back and check and come back and tell me since I have had to wait so long and the mix up with the boneless wings that my order is on the house and that I can choose a free soda, well I get a coke thinking it will just be a 20 oz for waiting but they give me a 2 liter.

I was not asking for anything free for the waiting cause I know how stuff can go nor was I getting upset on the waiting but I really appreciate what the staff did and I guarantee the next time I'm down there I will be back to get more pizza. Also the staff was very nice and really looked like they enjoyed working there because they were very enthusiastic and having fun. Those two things make great service and great food.

So I do not know where the negative reviews are coming from but my experience...

Pizza was ok, but 55 minutes to cook 2 Med pizzas and forgetting to pack the sides that were ordered, shame on them. There was no compensation, for there screw ups nether, last time I ordered from them they undercooked my food, making my family sick. No one at the store, bothered to appoligize, when I called to complain, nor did they compensate for the poor cooking of products or poor delivery times. I rarely recommend eating here unless it's late and the only place open. Until they straighten there acts up order elsewhere ;). It wasn't the delivery drivers fault nether. It was managers fault, both times for lack of order accuacy, to falure to check quality of product accuracy to make sure customers get what they ordered. Both situations the drivers had to go back for sides and ended up returning short-handed lacking what sides were ordered. This was a test of accuacy, quality, satifactsation that they failed, salad was ok.

"Update as of 8/3/20 ordered again to check to see if situation had changed l, well it's worse than last time I got 2 overcooked thin crust pizzas that were beyond greasy and not worth the prices anymore, the bread sticks were undercooked and doughy and had to be picked appart and bread thrown away. I'm done with this company the pizzas were both horrible hardly any toppings and so little cheese that they even burnt the crust on both thin crust pizzas. I will never order from this place again since I was a teen it used to be great now it's not worth it going elsewhere...

We ordered a Canadian bacon and pineapple pizza buffalo wings with ranch and cheese bread with marinara sauce! We got a pineapple and bacon pizza bbq wings and cheese bread with no marinara I called the first time manager on stated he would get our sauces to us! 45 mins later they bring us buffalo sauce but still no marinara! Call to complain again they say they will get it right out to us! It is now 930 and we still have no marinara! I call and the manager refuses to give me the store managers name and never offers to even try to make it right! When I got upset because this is no way to treat a customer he tells me if you want to keep being disrespectful I’m gonna hang up on you! I told him to go a head bc I would be calling the store manager! So 3 hours after we ordered we still have no sauce for our cheese...
