I didn't want to believe it when my coworker informed me that this restaurant has changed regarding the owners. As of today, I am certain that this restaurant is under new management and wow, the crazy lady needs therapy and anger management. Gourmet Garden has repeatedly messed up my coworkers order via Uber Eats. When I suggested that I order via phone and pick it up myself, she caved in. I made sure her wrap was GF. I brought the food over to the office and she bites into it and tells me there's no sauce and the salmon portion was small. I called the restaurant to inform them and they apologized (a man, unknown name) and offered to remake the food on the same day or give my coworker a new salmon wrap. I told him I would stop by next week since it was Friday and we don't work on the weekends. I placed my order today (10/19) and was informed by a grouchy owner that they do not give free salmon wraps because they forgot a sauce. She said she will be happy to give us the sauce that was initially suppose to be in the salmon wrap. But how was she suppose to give me the sauce if we were already at the office and we only have an hour lunch break? This cross eyed owner with short hair has zero customer service skills and needs to get her attitude checked. Good luck gourmet garden. This use to be a well tuned location and now its just not. I think what makes this experience even worse is the fact that they blamed this bus boy for the "wrong" information that was given yet there was a total of 3 males working that day... The rude owner (or manager) even created a commotion in front of other guests and yelled at the bus boy to pay for the salmon wrap... I promise you, this place lacks in a lot of things. Living Green is the only place to go. It's located on US1 near...
Read moreWas not intrigued by this place from the outside at all but I didn’t want to go to the same tried and true places I’ve frequented before. I think it needs some unique definition from the rest of the boring 90’s strip mall outside. Painting the outdoor floor would be cool. Some rustic light fixtures would add a lot of curb appeal. The fake ikea plants inside pretty much say no one that owns the establishment cares enough to spend time there and water a real plant from time to time. It cheapens any concept. I was surprised to find out they have full sit-down service. The menu looked amazing and offered a huge variety of dishes. My friend knew it was a good sign they carried Celsius drinks and I ordered a hot latte and was given an iced latte in the happiest accident ever to occur cause I hadn’t taken into consideration how hot it was outside. We opted to share the impossible quesadilla and added peppers and onions and the pancakes which both were incredible. The quesadilla is probably the best in town and has such and incredible ever evolving flavor profile! (I still dream about that quesadilla) And that’s saying a lot in the land of fried food, chicken on a stick and “slap it on” Tex-Mex!!! The server was effortlessly helpful and pleasant checking in with us several times. We will go back as soon as one of our friends suggests meeting up for lunch. Leave a like and/ or follow me if this was helpful. Check back for updates and...
Read moreWhat a very disappointing experience. I went in around noon to get a “fresh” juice. On the menu it says juices from the garden which to me means made of real fruit and not boxes. Also the price is over $8 for a small 16ounces. I ordered the small minty juice, which should have fresh pineapple, fresh Orange, fresh mango and fresh mint. I did not watch the lady make the juice so when it was ready I got it and went to my car. I was about to drive off and I tried the juice! It did not taste like fresh juice at all more like bottle OJ. I thought this can’t be reall over $8 and not fresh!!!!! I went back in and asked the lady who made the juice what she put in the juice ? When she told me the first ingredient I was shocked, she said “Tropicana OJ”!!!! Are you kidding me????? I asked her to please make me a new juice with fresh squeezed OJ the way it’s suppoed to be and with an attitude she made me a new one. This is a rip off! How can you charge $8 and up for juice that is not fresh???? Will definitely not visit this place again! I felt like they take advantage and are not...
