Tee Jay Thai Sushi — Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale

Extremely disappointed. I was very excited to eat here with my wife after reading all the great comments and seeing a reasonably priced sushi menu. We ordered a tempura appetizer and it was pretty good the shrimp was nice and crispy we also ordered 2 shrimp tempura sushi rolls but to my surprise the shrimp tempura used in the sushi is pre made god only knows how long in advance and stuck in a freezer. The shrimp in the sushi roll was extremely cold and mushy unlike the same advertised shrimp used in the tempura appetizer. We also ordered chicken fried rice with no vegetables but the rice was brought to our table with lots of onions, when I made a comment about the onions the waiter said you never ordered it without onions you only stated no vegetables... smh... the waiter takes the rice off of the table and assures us he will get it taken care of at this point I’m upset from the service and the mushy shrimp used in our sushi rolls so I began to complaint about our sushi as well. The waiter refuses to offer a solution and mentions that we had already eaten 1 sushi roll so I said we only ate one roll and we will gladly pay for it but we would like the uneaten mushy sushi roll removed from the bill so he takes the sushi away and brings back our rice and states that the chef in the kitchen had removed the onions and did not prepare a new order..... gross, unsanitary, and unprofessional. I still tipped 18% cost me over $100 and I still had to pay for the UNEATEN and molested fried rice. Thanks teejays for your...

Tee Jay Sushi Wilton Manors. We used to love ordering delivery from Tee Jay sushi until tonight's order. They did not include one item spring roll and shorted me a piece of sashimi from a 9 pcs appetizer. I called to let them know what was missing and the man on the phone offered me a credit for the missing items. I was happy and thought that was fair as I was charged for the items. Halfway thru dinner I get a call from Delivery Dudes letting me know they were sorry for the problem and was issuing me a credit . All good I thought after the credit was issued DD customer service said that the manager at Tee Jay is blocking us from further delivery. I could not believe that I would get blocked for complaining about items I was charged for and didn't receive. Crazy. I called the restaurant the manager said yes he would only do business with us if we pick it up. We have spent lot of money there and ordered often but if this is how they handle their mistakes we are done..... Very poorly handled they just lost ...

TEE JAYS is a stable fixture of high quality but very reasonably priced Japanese and Thai fare in the northern end of Fort Lauderdale, on Federal hwy in the Imperial Square shopping center. Their plated foods are beautifully decorated and appealingly arranged so that each course that's served is prettier than the last. Lots of choices on the very tiny print Covid-19 menu, so it's wise to either look at the online menu or scan the barcode on each table and read the menu on your phone or tablet. Highest quality combined with tasty combinations make this a repeat destination every time you desire great sushi, sashimi, or other high level Thai or Japanese cuisine. If you are a fan of ordering Boats for multiple people, suggest you pay a slight upcharge and order the pieces and amounts you prefer rather than take the "pick of the chef" that's what is on the Boat. You'll be happier and the price is right.
