Ivory's Take Out — Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale

Stop by there for breakfast this morning with my husband and niece I got the double meatier with cheese grits and cheese eggs with a biscuit which was 11.75. My niece got the shrimp and potatoes and toast which came out to 11.74 my husband just got bacon and cheese grits with cheese eggs and toast which came out to $8.97 now the prices aren't bad but the wait is ridiculous the cashier Fred did a good job of taking our order and customer service but the seating area has rules no one follows the plates were leaky they got my niece’s order was incorrect they put grits instead of potatoes but they fixed it the biscuit was dry jelly couldn't fix it the food was so unseasoned I couldn't believe it they don't give you personal packets of the salt and pepper the salt and pepper shakers they had available was so dirty and clogged you couldn't shake anything out of them I was high disappointed in food the drinks were about the only thing good there we got 3 large mixed fruit punch with lemonade...

I’ve been coming here for years and the service has slowed down tremendously . I don’t know if they need to hire younger cooks or better order takers. Waiting an Hr for food that I cook in 20 mins is crazy . Giving orders and them doing IT wrong is crazy . I wish Keith lee could come and put this restaurant out of business there is no way they’re still open with the slow service , ( slow cooks ) horrible customer service ( takes your order and forgets about you and what you ordered ) and amazing food ( food is great but 1Hr wait is crazy ).I told him not to go to them today but because he knows I love THIER food he went anyway . Even when I tried to Uber eats my food after waiting an Hr and 20 mins my drivers kept canceling because of the long wait then Uber charged me $22.00 for canceling what a scam . And then they never ever pick up the phone . Ivory’s needs to be under new management because the seniors running IT will put IT out...
