1/5 - Utterly Disastrous Experience at Krispy Kreme Broward!

We arrived just before 9:30 PM, only to find that the Krispy Kreme store in Broward had already locked its doors, even though their posted closing time is 10 PM! It felt like the staff just couldn’t wait to shut down and kick us out. But we weren’t about to let that ruin our dreams of getting those elusive Harry Potter-themed donuts we’d heard so much about!

So, we went through the drive-thru—hoping for a tiny bit of customer service, maybe a little bit of magic? Nope. The employee who greeted us was cold, dismissive, and honestly, rude. Without even a hint of kindness, they slammed the window shut on us like we were the ones causing a disturbance when we were just trying to get a donut.

We persisted, hoping against hope that maybe they could tell us if any Harry Potter donuts were left. My girls were so excited, they’d been talking about them for weeks. We even traveled all the way from SOUTH AMERICA for this! Yes, you read that right—we came from another CONTINENT for a donut. And what did we get? A full two dozen of the most basic, un-magical donuts you can imagine. Regular donuts. No themed ones. No magic, no joy, just disappointment.

This was by far the most frustrating, soul-crushing experience I’ve ever had with a “donut shop.” We drove a long way from South West Broward to get here, only to be met with terrible customer service and no effort to make the experience enjoyable. It’s honestly unbelievable. The employee couldn’t even make an effort to help us, or even acknowledge that we were there with a slight bit of respect.

If you’re looking for good service, don’t waste your time at Krispy Kreme Broward. Save your energy—and your taste buds—for a place that actually cares about its customers. One star for the most disappointing, heart-wrenching donut...

Although I am a fan of Krispy Kreme and the products they offer, this location has terrible customer service & has consistently lied to me over the phone about what they have on stock. I don't know if anyone else is frequenting this location only to hear that they only have "glazed" donuts available & are sold out of everything else. The lobby is closed right now causing the drive through lines to be longer than normal. The only way to find out what they have is to wait in the drive through line because if you call in advance, they will tell you they have what you want only for you to find out upon arrival, they "just sold out." From what I understand, Krispy Kreme stores are franchised. Someone made an investment in this facility and needs pay attention before more customers are lost and share their negative experiences. Yes, COVID-19 has disrupted the supply chain & has caused shortages. Your staff can still offer customer service and not provide false information to potential customers when they inquire about the availability of your product. The power of krispy kreme. Its the power of love. Such an expierence when biting into heaven. Amen. Krispy kreme for as long as i can remember your doughnuts have a fresh and distinct taste. Guilty pleasures will no go unseen. The superior quality that is provided by the staff over the decades. Deserves such detail attention. The staff is always happy making sure the client is rewarded for shopping at krispy kreme. The legacy will live on forever. Through my kids and thier kids krispy kreme will always bring out the best inside you. Here are some of my favorites and my wifes favorite doughnuts. You can pick on many styles of doughnuts. My favorite favorite doughnut is the boston kreme. Rich in chocolate and stacked with delicious kreme. I truly love krispy kreme as a child, and purely as an adult. Thank you krispy kreme for allowing to be happy and smiling through out good times and the perfect times. A little goes a long way and the company really stuck around when covid was all around us.
