Sunrise Bakery — Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale

Given that I’ve purchased from this bakery before, I asked my friend to purchase 15 dozen patties from this bakery for our church’s Christmas Eve program. She called them at least three times to confirm that they would have the patties ready on Monday. To her shock, when she got there they only had 7 dozen patties. When she reminded them that she called to confirm the cashier went to the back to confront the baker. The baker acknowledged making 15 dozen patties and yet somehow 8 dozen of them were sold to other people. When my friend pointed out that this was not her fault, the cashier pointed out that it was 5:23, they “close at 5:30,” and they’ve already closed the registers...leaving us stranded with 8 dozen missing patties less than 3 hours before our program. Thank GOD my friend was fast on her feet and ran to another bakery to quickly purchase 8 dozen patties! This place has to have some of the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever seen! If you’re buying one or two patties, go here; but if you’re looking for large orders, AVOID. I will definitely be warning everyone I know not to rely on...

I bought herring patties, some coconut tablet, and akasan. The pattie fillings were gross. You couldnt taste OR see any herring - only onions! Not to mention that the onions tasted rotten. I dont know what was going on with this spot in these last few years, but needless to say I wont be giving them anymore buisiness.

I WOULD give it 1 star, but every other item we bought tasted fine, so its as realistic of a score as I'm willing to give. This store has steep competition in Ft Lauderdale, so for their sake I hope...

Highly recommend for the pumpkin and banana cakes Today Service November 26, 2019. by the right blend the perfect moisture natural healthy taste. Taste very sweet and organic. By fare the best tasting cake in my life courtesy and pleasant customer service ... Better them anything I've had at whole foods market any other small bakery in Miami Broward and west Palm Beach. THE hot chocolate is full of suger... The bake Patty's and bread is horrible at least...
