This place is a hidden gem! One of the coolest bar experiences (if you call it that) that my husband and I have ever been to. If you're considering stopping by the place, just go and you'll understand. You go inside and it's a warm and inviting social environment. Its a very old building but all Corners are filled with chairs in circles and facing one another with tables and chairs in the center and some displays of beers. There's Dim lights with cool and unique decor. But then on the left side you see what would normally look like the cooler from inside a 7 eleven! They had a ton of craft beers in the cooler doors to choose from. I didn't count but probably 8 doors worth. An amazing selection! Then in he back, they have different flavor sodas for kids! My 9 yo son thought that was cool. There's pepsi but also blue raspberry bottled soda and other unique flavors! On the right side they have a variety of wines including bottles and can wines! The staff was super cool and chill. You'd think you would have to ask every time you got a beer from the cooler, but they were so on point that they somehow magically knew when we checked out. Not to mention that the food was NOT overpriced and still so delicious! Very impressed with the uniqueness, atmosphere, quality and customer service...

If I could give this place a 0 rating I would. Me and my husband went on a Tuesday afternoon. Only 2 other tables occupied by customers. Waitress ignored us when we walked In. took her 20 minutes to approach our table. When she finally did we ordered onion rings to start. We waited over an hour and got our main course before our appetizer. And unfortunately the food was not worth the wait. Cold soggy fries and almost burnt onion rings. The hamburger was unseasoned, seemed like it didn’t even have salt or pepper. My husband and his friends tried to give this place another try today and when they walked in the waitress refused to let them order and said “the kitchens closed” but immediately after she took 2 other customers orders. When my husband asked her about it she couldn’t give him a real reason why she wouldn’t take his order other than that guy was a regular. So my husband then asked “what time does the kitchen typically close?” She told him “it doesn’t” So I would avoid going to this “restaurant” unless you are a “regular”. But becoming a regular is impossible if you refuse to...

Great Neighborhood Hangout

Visited several times including yesterday, so figured it is time I shared something. I believe this is the go-to place for craft beer however we do not drink much though my husband enjoys an occasional glass of sparkling wine. The vibe is casual and fun. The walls are lined with coolers where you help yourself, keeping the empties for checkout. The Honor System seems to work and is wonderful. That being said, there is no poor service, you will always have a cold one when you are ready. The seating is communal and the outside tables are actually in the parking lot but it all works. There is sofa seating and large high tops, all communal as I said. Photos attached. I am old now so I have not visited after dark but I hear it is lots of fun. I have enjoyed the pizza and the breakfast sandwiches but have yet to completely explore...

It's been a tough year, so I dropped by Riverside Cafe to relax and gather my thoughts. As I sat comtemplating my existence and the meaning of life, I couldn't help but notice the amazing selection of beer. There must be 500 different options. It's just alot to think about. I mean, it's already a challenge to figure out why am I here; what's it all about; is there a god? And how about these subs? The delicious "Section Ate" ham hoagie with everything was life-affirmingly melt-in-your-mouth good. Anyway, I've heard that the number 42 is the answer to life, the universe and everything (seriously, google it), but it wasn't the answer to 'how do I pay for these very reasonably priced drinks and food'. Had to use my Visa for that. Looks like I need to do more meditating. But a big thumbs up to Riverside Market. Loved the food and service. 👍🥪🍻

I have been coming to this place since about 2015! My wife and I would come here when they would close once the last person would leave. That rule has changed but the ambience and homey feel has never changed. The food is definitely a mix of your favorites and you can always find something you would like for all types of eaters and beer drinkers! Most people come for the beer, which there is plenty of! If you are a beer connoisseur this is your place but don’t sleep on the food! My favorites are the pastrami or Reuben sandwich, but people love the pizza! It’s a little doughy for me but I won’t deny a slice. Actually I think that’s what makes there’s pizza special a little under cooked! Regardless, the vibe and serve yourself vibe is the best! Come in grab a beer and enjoy!
