I have been going to this place pretty regularly, at least once a week. This past week I decided to go in after work for a quick meal, I had placed my order and they were very nice like always. Sat outside around 6:30pm and watching it get busier and busier. So an hour went by and I had still not received my order.
6 tacos, 1 nachos and an order of corn. Shouldnât take an hour, so I went inside to ask what is going on, the cashier told me âthey are putting it together and will bring out in a few minutesâ. Waited a few minutes and still no food, right when we were going inside to complain and get our money back, I saw a young lady bring a bag full of food back and hand it to the cashier and walk out with another bag. So I asked the lady while Leaving, because I had a feeling she had our order, of that bag was an order of 6 tacos and nachos. She said yes, so I continued to watch them take the order out of the bag and see what they would do.
During these times of Covid they totally disregarded the safety of their customers and Decided to serve us the meal someone had took home for 20 minutes, open and look that itâs not theirs...
The manager brings the food over and tells us that âI know it was supposed to be for here but they packaged it to go by mistakeâ so I HATED that I was lied to, and I called him out and told him you gave our food to someone else and decided to still serve it to us, we waited till 8:30 so we were hungry, we started eatting the cold food that we were served and on upon leaving, I had told him (the manager) that I was super disappointed that he would actually do something like that to someone who goes there quite often, it was a âshrug the shoulders, oh wellâ type of feeling. They were busy so didnât care. I canât remember a time where I was this mad about going out to eat because it was maybe the total disregard of the situation. I like to support local small businesses because of the times we are in, but when businesses donât care about their customers , karma will take its course. I wonât be stepping foot...
   Read moreMy first order was delicious. I was very excited to finally have a good mexican restaurant in my neighborhood. Nope. Thatâs not the case unfortunately. My last 2 orders were disaster. Not only the food tasted terrible, the service is also awful. I placed the orders through their website for pickup. When I got there for my last order, there was only 1 other pickup order so they werenât busy. They handed my order, I normally check if the order is correct before I leave but this time I didnât because the seating area was occupied and they only have 2 tables. I walked to my car and check the food in my car. Realized they didnât add the guacamole in my salad which I paid additional $2 for it since the salad didnât come with guacamole originally. I walked back to the restaurant and told them there is no guacamole added in my salad. I can not find it. The employee picks up my salad, digs it in with a random tong, I mean digs it in really good to make sure I am not lying to get extra guacamole thatâs costing $2. Then hands me back the salad with a straight stone-faced saying âsorryâ. Hands me a side guacamole. Everything in the salad was inedible. I ordered with carne asada. First of all, because of the digging and waiting so long my steak was cold. It smelled really bad I couldnât even eat. I threw my food away but my husband ate his because he was starving. He had a terrible stomach ache the next day and wished didnât eat it. Never ordering...
   Read moreOrdered a chicken cutlet torta. The chicken was not cooked all the way through inside so I gave the place a call to get another one. The man that I spoke to on the phone was very rude. I asked if I could have another sandwich delivered to my place because the first sandwich I got was not cooked all the way through. The man responded "No we're closing soon, so what do you want to do? You want to pick one up tomorrow?" Time at the time was 9:10pm. So I said, "No, I would like one for tonight, can you have one ready for me? I will come pick it up". He says " Yes" hangs up without even saying sorry or single word of apology. So I go there to pick it up, brought my uncooked sandwich to show them that it was; however, the cashier didn't even look at it said " Sorry about that" and threw it away. I was surprised at the customer service and communication skills of the staff. They did not seem to care. I went along with it and took my sandwich home and began eating. Surprise! the chicken was not cooked through again.
You should not be serving customers raw chicken and make sure that food is properly cooked at all times! Especially, when a disgruntled customer is nice enough to come back to pick up a supposed to be fully fixed and cooked through sandwich.
