Chancho's Tacos — Restaurant in Fort Mill

This is hands down best Mexican food i’ve had in SC. California burrito is absolutely to die for. If you know real Cali Mexican food, this is the closest thing you probably can find on the east coast. It’s no fast food, it’s restaurant quality from a truck. I worked here a while ago and i know they make pico, guac, salsa, literally everything is fresh EVERY day. Meat is hand cut themselves. Coming from someone who’s worked in restaurants my whole life, this is QUALITY food, i can’t say that about anywhere else i’ve worked. My review comes as a now loyal customer of 2 years and i will never look for my Mexican fix anywhere else. Once you eat Chanchos, everything else is disappointing. They aren't located at one spot in Fort Mill anymore but you can find them anywhere on their website. These other bad reviews are people who honestly wouldn’t know California styled Mexican food if it hit them...

It's not awful food but it's absolutely NOT worth the price you pay. It was like $38 for a burrito, quesadilla and 2 churros. The quesadilla was THIN meat and cheese. I thought for the price it would be loaded with veggies or fresh guac or SOMETHING. Nope just some cheese, meat and a few onions on a stale tortilla. It was thinner then even ataco bell quesadilla but much more expensive. The burrito I was told was "super filling" and had rice and beans in it... It didn't. And there was SO much extra (again stale) tortilla all over because it wasn't even filled properly. The churros were fine but everything else was absolutely NOT worth the prices being charged. I could go to taco bell for cheaper and it's just as tasty or I could sit down and be served a full meal with sides for a similar price and its at least filling. I will be saving my money for other spots...

Update: Refund received

I order online during business hours, I received notifications saying my order was being made, door dash came to pick up then called me to inform me that the place was closed. I had to stop what I was doing go there and sure enough closed . I sent text messages to the owner called the business no response. I am a Cali native and I support small businesses especially if you’re from my state. Door dash could not refund me, it needed to be from the business. I have made several attempts and no one has responded to this day. My order was placed on Sept 2nd for a birthday surprise delivery. I have not...
