Was excited to try this place. The two KIDS that were working when I went in really didn’t know what they were doing. I asked for the country bear sundae and they were out of peaches (which was the main ingredient) I substituted for crushed graham crackers instead. The girl who scooped my ice cream had her hair hanging into the ice cream container and a very loose sweater that was shedding pieces everywhere... I know because as I was eating my sundae I found a large piece of her fuzzy sweater in my bowl. When I asked for a refund the boy kid said he was not authorized to do refunds or gift cards. He said I could choose anything off the menu in substitution. I asked for the salted caramel brownie ice cream(labeled on the glass) but was then told that label was incorrect and it was actually cookie dough in its place. I then asked if he could do a root beer float instead, he said they did not have root beer. I settled for a coffee shake which was more milk than ice cream. I felt like I was just drinking flavored milk. My family and I spent over 40 mins here just trying to figure out what to get and figure out what substitutions would taste good in replacement of what they were missing. I was really trying to be understanding but I could tell he was irritated. Which I know he shared his frustrations with the girl worker because she took it upon herself to shoot me dirty looks as I waited for my order. There was no manager available to assist with my refund or even a gift card exchange for the complications I encountered. When I asked the boy kid when a manager would be available, he couldn’t tell me when or what time (next day, week etc). Overall, will not be going back to this place and I still have not received a refund from this establishment. If you are going to hire young workers (which normally I encourage!) please make sure at least one of them is trained to handle situations or make sure there is an ADULT on shift who can troubleshoot when situations...
Read moreI was really excited to try this place out but I wish we would’ve gone to our second choice instead. First off, it took 15 mins just to be acknowledged (with one family ahead of us). Then another 15 minutes to get our ice cream. The place is being run by kids and the customer service tells it all. I ordered the hot fudge sundae and my sister the peach sundae. They told her they were out of peaches but failed to mention they were out of FUDGE for the HOT FUDGE Sunday. Instead they served me vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. The vanilla ice cream tasted like it came from the back of my freezer, the brownie was old, flat and stale and the surprise chocolate syrup was unacceptable not to mention, gross. My sisters ice cream came with a string in it (new topping?)! She asked for a float instead, but they don’t have root beer and salted caramel (bin labeled), but that wasn’t even what was in the bin and they were out of it! My daughter had a small bug in hers. I personally recommend you go to the grocery store and buy your favorite ice cream instead of coming here. Cute patio out back, but we...
Read moreStepping into this establishment felt like entering a whimsical haven, with its enchanting cabin-themed décor and delightful array of merchandise. I indulged in the "Mama Bear Special," featuring two generous scoops of ice cream, each adorned with three toppings. My first choice was the Southern Blackberry Cobbler, a flavor that danced on the palate, enhanced by a sprinkle of magic, a medley of nuts, and the comforting crunch of graham cracker crumbles. The second scoop was a decadent fudge brownie ice cream, swirled with chocolate chips, Oreo cookie pieces, and Reese's Pieces.
Upon my arrival, the server's approach to scooping the ice cream was endearingly generous, leading me to believe she might be new. However, it soon became clear that these bountiful portions were a hallmark of the "Mama Bear Special." The sheer size of the ice cream, presented in a charming pie tin, was quite the spectacle. The two young staff members were incredibly kind and accommodating, adding a sprinkle of sweetness to an already...
