J&C Crab - Juicy Seafood — Restaurant in Fort Myers

From the atmosphere and setup was nice but went done hill fast. Limited menu with no baked or broiled fish choices, not even shrimp scampi. Styrofoam plates and foil packaged marinara sauce. First the husband and I had margaritas. All mix with no tequila. Second was the calamari. Chewy with no flavor, frozen and processed. I had the catfish basket, the husband had the shrimp basket. The fish was fried with NO seasoning or taste to the coating. The fish itself was watery, mushy and gross, it didn't even taste like fish. The shrimp was no better. You have to pay extra for standard sauces like cocktail and tarter that should come out with any seafood meal but you only get it if you ask. Absolutely the worst tasting seafood we have ever had. Friday night at 6:30 and the place was more than half empty. The only people seated at the bar was the staff stuffing food in their mouth in front of customers, while we had to ask for a drink at our table 20 minutes after our glasses were empty because our waiter was busy sitting down talking to co-workers chilling at the bar instead of waiting on us. Better off saving your money and going to Long John Silvers...

Extremly rude service..we went in today to celebrate my daughters highschool graduation..we ordered 3 seafood boils each with corn and potatoes and we opted to add egg and sausage ,which we do everyplace we have ever ordered a seafood boil..the sausages were so incredibly salty that we could not eat them..so i asked to speak with a manger to have the sausages removed from the tab and explained to him that they were too salty to eat...we didnt ask to be compensated for anything..only to have the sausages removed...instead of him apologizing and keeping it professional .he yelled at us and told us well next time dont order the sausage ..i was apalled at the way he spoke to us..i was very respectful to him..on top of that our service was horrible ..our waitress all but threw the straws at us when she brought our drinks..and never once came back to check on our table.never once smiled at us or ask if we needed to refill our drinks.she did however still get a 30 dollar tip that she did not deserve because it was already added onto the bill.. this was our first time visiting J and C crab..horrible experience definatly will not...

If you like burnt fried food and poor customer service, then this is your restaurant. A group of 8 of us was taking a friend out for her birthday. She wanted scallops, but they only offer them boiled. My friend asked if after boiling them, could they pan fry or throw them in the fryer basket to crisp them up, and they said no. Asked for manager, and he said no. Birthday girl ended up ordering shrimp instead. Three of us ordered fried catfish dinners. All three orders came out so over fried, you couldn’t tell if there was any fish. Parties are automatically charged an 18% tip, and you could tell that our server knew her tip was guaranteed as we never saw her again after she dropped off our food. My husband had to get up to find someone to refill our drinks. Finally, when presented with our bill, we asked if our friend would get a complimentary dessert for her birthday, but they said no. However, at a table next to us, was another person with a birthday. That server warmly said “Happy Birthday” and gave that customer dessert. WE WILL NEVER VISIT THIS RESTAURANT EVER AGAIN.
