What to say about Hibachi Express... For one, the best part about it is the steak. It's tender, juicy and the sauce over it is excellent. The steak is why this has 3 stars. The rice was boarder lune cooked, some bits still crunchy. Was It stir fried? I couldn't tell. The steak definitely was though and a quick mixing of both the protein and the rice was what made the dish. The veggies were ok and I had 1 total mushroom in the whole plate. Was it worth the $37 we paid? Ehh. Probably not. The sushi was nothing to write home about either. I consider it an equal to Publix sushi. As my first opinion, I wouldn't come here for the food as there is a bahm mi place here that's way better than this. But if you want a quick meal that is definitely enough to take home with you, then by all means come here. But for $37 there is a lot better food out there than this place.

We've eaten here two times so far. We love the hibachi concept and the food lives up to the name. Prices are very reasonable for amount of food given. We usually get two apps and two entrees and it's about $30 and we have leftovers for lunch the next day. Only 2 things keeping from a 5 star. Both visits staff seem not necessarily unfriendly but not welcoming either. I guess indifferent is the best way to put it. When you walk in everyone behind the counter looks at you, but no greeting. It's a new place and they don't offer you any help with regards to if you have menu questions. If you're not sure you have to speak up. Only other thing is they give you one complimentary yum yum sauce which is a decent size so no complaint there but the one we got was super runny. Seemed watered down. Other than that food is great and comes out nice and quick.

This place is one of our favorite local spots. I'll be real, this place is not known for its flair. You won't see any Chefs flipping spatulas and starting volcanoes. But what you get is delicious, quality food at a fair price. My usual is the Steak Hibachi meal with white rice and a bowl of clear soup and my girlfriend is fond of the Chicken Yakisoba. My total is usually around $28-$30. Sounds expensive, but if you want that Hibachi taste with none of the hassle at a fraction of the price, this is your place. We come here regularly and we will continue to do so. It is always filling and I am always satisfied. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is laid back and it's just overall, a very great spot to get a good meal. I can't recommend it enough.

I went in & ordered 4 hibachi chicken lunch specials, 1 no mushroom, & 1 I asked if they put shrimp on the dish, they said they do not. I said do you wash down the grill after cooking shell fish before cooking the next order. They said yes we do always wash it down. I said ok because we have someone who is allergic to shellfish. Highly allergic, I was told they wash the grill before. I get back to work & out comes our Dr. who is allergic to shellfish saying there is shrimp on her meal. We look & tasted what she said was a piece of shrimp. Yes is was a piece of shrimp. We had to go out to her car & get her epi pen. She was starting with an allergic reaction. I called back them & the woman said oh no we wash the grill in between, I explained the situation she puts a gentlemen on the phone and he says well if we are busy then sometimes they may not wash the grill, or if the containers are next to the grill a shrimp might fall inside the container. I said I asked about it he said I am sorry but it happens. It shouldn't happen if you spoke to them about an allergy. All I got was come back & I will cook you a new dinner. We don't want a new dinner our Dr is having an allergic reaction!!! Not a way to handle a situation where you messed up an order & hope the person doesn't have to go to the hospital. A refund should have been offered not we can make you a new dish!!! First time trying this place, on a recommendation it will be our...

We came here to eat on Christmas Day because there was not too many places to eat. Since it’s the holiday time we only put in our checking what we are planning to spend just in case we lose our card. We transferred enough money from savings to pay for our food that was a total of $39.92 plus and additional $30 in which in checking the only available to spend would be $70.. the female swiped our card then proceeded to swipe again but after the first transaction went through it said our card was declined well this was the exact reason we only put what we spend in our account so she would of charged us double and would of been able to keep the extra at the end of her shift because now her drawer would of been over. Our texts alerts came through for a purchase then the declined transaction. The owner came over then told us the was a card read error and that it never went through we showed him in fact it did he told us to call the bank in which we did then he refused to listen to the banker that they did in fact charge us. The female of course act like she didn’t know what she had done.. not going to talk about their food because I never got a chance to try it but as far as their customer service it’s very poor service and they tried to scam us. Moral of story use cash or watch when people double...

I just discovered this place. I had a HORRIBLE experience at Hibachi express. I ordered TO-GO at the counter, when I got my food I was hungry and just wanted to have a couple bites of it. I just wanted to sit for 5 mins. UPON sitting down I heard the Owner/workers saying about me “didnt even tip enough to be sitting down” Mind you I was the ONLY customer in the whole place all tables were SO EMPTY. The whole restaurant was EMPTY. WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO TURN AWAY SOMEONE THAT JUST WANTED TO SIT FOR 5 MINS? After I closed my box and went to my car to eat. HIBACHI express you should be more understanding of people. Not everyone lives nearby, to eat there food at home. TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS BETTER. TREAT PEOPLE BETTER. The food was not appealing to me no more after that. For anybody else that is trying to come here make sure you leave a generous tip for UNPLEASANT service and food that is leftover and COLD. But im not coming back ever. I recommend the bun mi place next door. Food is fresh and service is...
