I just moved to Fort Myers May 2nd. On May 4th I offered to buy pizza for my grand kids and family who live in Gateway in Fort Myers, FL. I tried to order on line first but the screen when I went to order kept scrolling for 10 minutes. So I called the Papa Johns in Leigh High and told the girl I could not place my order on line, so if she gets an order at our address to cancel it so I could order over the phone. She took my order. We got our pizzas. My husband came home and a Papa Johns pizza guy was in the driveway so he paid the pizza (that was ordered on line). When he walked in we already had 5 pizzas and now had 5 more. We started eating the first set that was delivered and the second set we got we called. The Manager on duty was rude and ended u hanging up on us. We just wanted someone to come and pick up the pizzas on the second order. We ended up paying almost $100 for pizzas we asked to be cancelled and the manager hung up on us? what kind of customer service is this? I sure do hope this manager is not the typical manager Papa Johns hires....I was soo tired from driving 9 hours we did not fight with this manager. We had boxes to unpack etc. I just want someone to know that this occurred and Papa Johns ripped us off by not cancelling the first order and we got stuck with a double order that we did not want and we had to pay for due to their error when we told the gal to cancel the first order IF SHE GOT IT. Read moreI order from this location pretty frequently, several times a month as it is near my office. My past two orders were very disappointing. I ordered delivery and close to three hours later I contacted the store to see status of my order (after calling multiple times since they never answer the phone) I was told that if I wanted my order I would have to come pick it up because they do not have a delivery driver. The reason I ordered delivery was because I was working and I could not pick it up. I asked how come they didn't call me to inform me of this issue. Their response was they are too busy making pizzas to make phone calls. And I was told I would get a refund but that never happened. Last week I ordered delivery again and my pizza looked as if it had been dropped. The pizza shifted so far over that it was almost folded in half. I proceeded to let him know that I was picking up a pizza for my brother with his credit card he said that we would not be able to complete the transaction because he has slide the credit card. I didn't say a word and just smiled at him continue to walk out it did not offer me any solutions had my brother had called in this order no credit card would have been required which is what I continue to do in the parking lot of Papa John's at a Domino's online location spending my $35 for as I needed food because I just got out of the hospital I will never go back to a Papa John's their Pizza is terrible their service is rude not recommended in Fort Myers.
