China Wok — Restaurant in Fort Myers

Last time I had food delivered I noticed the food container was much smaller than what I've been getting during the last year. I thought maybe it was a mistake. Well, I was wrong. Today I went to pick up some food and I got the same small rectangular container. I asked the girl at the counter why the container was smaller and she said the lunch container has always been the same. False! I took a pic from the first time I had their food for lunch a year ago to show my wife. You can clearly see the container is square, with more food than what I got the last 2 times, but the price is still the same. Even the rice has less meat. You can also see other pics here in their google listing showing the square container. Time to find another Chinese take out place...

12/4/19 Update: So, I figured if the lunch combination portion is small now, maybe I should try the dinner portion, which is more expensive at about $11 bucks (around $10 + tax). To my surprise, the container seems to be even smaller than the lunch combination container! As you can see in the photo, it's not much bigger than one of those $0.99 microwave noodle meals. And you can also see the kind of rice you get with very little meat in it. Until they go back to their original, larger portions, take your money...

I ordered three dishes with meat from this place (two Lo Mein and one Four Seasons). I am not sure what happened, but when I got home, I found zero meat in those meals. I also asked for fried rice with Four Seasons and I was given white rice. I called the store, and politely explained the issue. The person on the phone told me to hold for the manager. When the manager got on the phone, he told me that they did not sell lo mein with meat, period, and that I imagined ordering it. Attached please find their menu and my receipt. He also told me that Four Seasons cannot be ordered with fried rice. So I guess I just paid $41.91 for some plain lo mein noodles and a small box of white rice. Never again.

I did tell the manager that I will make this post and he told me that he did not care. Fair enough. I'm good on never returning to that place, but I hope he doesn't scam other people the way he...

I feel it’s overpriced for the portions. They were rude on the phone then it took them 53 minutes to deliver it less than 2 miles around 3 pm. When he got here he was butt hurt about our “small” tip so we gave him a 5 extra dollars but looking back that was uncalled for. I would’ve tipped him better if it came faster and if they were polite. Compared to the other nearby chinese restaurants the box is small and they give you way more rice than chicken. This meal was $12 something. Smallest egg roll i’ve ever seen! The 8 pieces of honey chicken tasted good or I’d give less stars. He wouldn’t let me keep the receipt and when I asked to see it he kept his thumb over part of it...
