It's a beautiful environment and the service was great but I came to eat, more importantly I came for the crabs😃. I got tea and it tasted like they boiled it in the same pot as the crab, even with the pink lemonade you couldn't escape the taste. So I switched the drinks out after the second sip. We went to order and guess what yall?! 😭They didnt😭have any😭Blue crabs, not even the small yall. None😑 Since they were out of blue crab, I settled for snow crab. They ✋ brought me out the snow crab BABIES, first time seeing that 👀, who wouldve expected it, mini snow crabs, and they weren't event Luke warm, they were cold, cute and salty😒 I got the chicken taco for my daughter it was alright, she hated it she tried to finish but just settled for her fries and applesauce, it was just what you would expect from a SEAFOOD restaurant. My little sister got the shrimp and no they weren't large either, they were good tho just not worth it, they weren't special but little did we know they would be the best on our plates that night. My green beans were hard, when they switched our meals my sister had the hard beans the next time. They really lost all my interest at this point. They must've saw us pouting because they came quick and wanted to know why we weren't eating. We complained, because it's gone cost too much to sit through a meal we don't like. I really couldn't make it even close to the end of the meal, I had such high hopes😥 They tried to make it right and we swapped our meal out for the blackened grouper, yall it was soggy, seawater fresh, and not cooked fully. At least my mashed potatoes were palpable. I just could not even, so i just tipped, paid and left. NVR AGAIN, but yall gone and spend your...
Read moreWe usually love going to pinchers this is why we brought family in there that was in town for her birthday. Prior to getting there we added that we have a birthday in our party. No happy birthday nothing. We got seated at a table that had a broom leaning on it, my husband had to move it so he could sit, the lady that walked us to the table looked at it and decided to just ignore it. The table was still wet she forgot the paper for the table so she laid the menus on the wet spots. Well. Ordering went well. Our waiter forgot the waters we ordered. Then our calamaris came but it looked like only half a portion and the seasoning was around on the plate but not the calamari. After we received our entrees the waiter brought another calamaris and told us the kitchen made too many and he told them to bring it to the table.after we finished we had to wait for over 30 minutes for our check and Well guess what he tried to charge us for the calamari and also tried to charge us for large portion when the birthday lady only ordered the little portion and also the kids meal. He had to go fix the bill we waited another 20 minutes. Total time of waiting for our check and him taking it almost an hour. Food was okay not special or anything. Our son had the popcorn shrimp and after we got home his stomach started hurting and he literally had to run to the bathroom. Like i said before we usually love going to pinchers but as of right now we are very disappointed and do not plan on returning anytime soon or bringing...
Read moreOur recent visit to Pinchers Restaurant in Fort Myers was a rollercoaster of flavors and service, leaving us with mixed impressions. Despite the picturesque setting and the excitement of a family gathering, the service was undeniably subpar. As a party of six, we journeyed two hours from the east coast of Florida to join relatives on the west coast.
The dining experience took a detour when two plates arrived almost half an hour later than the rest, citing broccoli as the culprit. Unfortunately, the broccoli, when it finally arrived, resembled mashed potatoes more than a vegetable side, adding an unexpected twist to our meal.
The fish and chips, lacking the anticipated burst of flavor, left our taste buds yearning for more. However, not all was lost on the culinary front; the remaining dishes on our table were mostly delicious, revealing the restaurant's potential for delivering satisfying meals.
The service, marked by delays and a lack of attentiveness, further diminished our overall experience. To add to the perplexity, the bill was presented to our table before the desserts even made their appearance. This premature billing left us feeling rushed, detracting from the leisurely conclusion we had hoped for.
Pinchers Restaurant, while showcasing areas of improvement in service and certain menu items, still offers a pleasant setting for family get-togethers. With refinements in service timing and menu execution, this establishment could truly shine in providing a consistently enjoyable...
