The Cafe 772 in Vero Beach is in a BP Gas station located in South Vero Beach. Although a little but of a hole in the wall, they have some of the best Latin American food in the area. I like their Cuban steak sandwich, and whenever I am in the area, I am sure to stop by there.
The service is great and they cook the food right in front of you. If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend that you give them a try.
Update; 4-18-24: I went there yesterday and was very disappointed. They say that all good things must come to an end, and so it goes for Cafe 772 in Vero. I ordered the Cuban Steak sandwich, my favorite, with mayo, Swiss cheese, and onions. What I got was a Cuban sandwich with no cheese and burnt bread. After having waited and needing to go, I just got my money back. Also, their phone did not work for taking orders. The time before this, a couple of weeks ago, I ordered 30 minutes ahead, getting there late only to find that they had not even started cooking my order. It was the same new lady working there both times. Needless to say, I will...
Read moreSo, I heard about the Fort Pierce location last week and stopped in for lunch. I had the Cuban steak sandwich and a stuffed potato ball. The steak sandwich was the most delicious one I ever had! The potato ball was pretty good too. It was so good, I went back the next day for breakfast. I had the breakfast croissant with ham, egg, and cheese with a side of rice and beans. The breakfast croissant was beyond amazing, and the rice and beans were absolutely delicious. The following day, I had to go back! The smell of the ribeye steaks cooking lured me right inside, and I ended up ordering one of my favorite Cuban dishes, ropa vieja. Once again, it was absolutely top tier, life changing good! My only complaint was I paid over $3.00 for a can of soda, but considering the superior quality of the food, and friendliness of the staff, that won't keep me from going back. Great job 772...
Read moreI hate to put this but customers BE AWARE! I went here for the first time ever. Order the tacos gringas and the taki taki fuego burrito. $32+ a 15% tip. So roughly $36. I bit in my burrito and took it apart to find a metal string from a scouring pad of some sort WRAPPED INSIDE my taki taki fuego burrito!!!! Went back and she asked if I wanted another. I said sadly absolutely not I want my money back. She gave me $20 out of a wad of cash from her pocket!? Not even a full refund. Beware of the tools you use to clean and be sure it doesn’t go in the food. Had I swallowed that I would have had serious problems! Never have I EVER had this problem. No star rating in my...
