JJ Plum's II Cafe — Restaurant in Fort Pierce

I’ve been going to jj plums since I was a kid and it was never a issue when I went in with my “white” grandparents, once I got old enough to go by myself (im biracial) they started treating me like I was a peasant and acted like they couldn’t see me. I went in one day for a order I placed over the phone, once I got there they just keep staring at me as if they couldn’t see me sitting there waiting than turned around and gave my food to a white lady that just walked in :/ even tho I was standing there for 15 mins.. if your a colored person I truly wanna say don’t go cause you will be treated like it’s the old days. I recommend Mickeys restaurant if you wanna sit down and enjoy your food without being judged for the color of your skin!!!!! I have eaten at Plums for years and never had as poor of service as today. I tried to place an order togo the person who answered barked in my ear to give her a minute and proceeded to set the phone down and walk away. Sunday is a busy day and I'm understanding of this, so 10 minutes later when no one came back to the phone I hung up and tried to call back but the phone was still of the hook. We placed a pickup order on Bitesquad and my boyfriend went to pick it up. He was met by the same rude person that originally put me on hold. He paid for the order and brought it home. Went there on a Sunday at about 11:15 did not get the meal until 12:15 a long time wait waitress not cleaning tables outside was very rude I moved table spilled milk and a waitress yelled at me was not very appreciative about her yelling at me if she would have cleaned the table the milk would have not have been spilled waitress then I moved inside waitress inside was nice.ok same waitress waiting on me on.
