Pappy's Pizza Fort Pierce — Restaurant in Fort Pierce

The Good: Pizza. The pizza we had (cheese, margaritta) were pretty good. We enjoyed it, and if you take my word for it, go for a thin crust. They’re nice and crispy.

Needs improvement: —Online ordering is very very very difficult. I couldn’t find for my life how to order a pickup in the app they endorse and offer promo code for (Slice). And then there is their website, which wouldn’t let us know what we can order and what not. I tried to add their Buffalo chicken and i couldn’t placed order. Kept refreshing and wouldn’t get through, i then though they may be out of it, then i couldn’t add a veggie in one of my pizza…not a great experince. —Options: How can you not have chicken toping option?? Thats basic, innit? Also, every veggie topping for the same price? Thats lazy!!

Overall, good pizza but way to go. I’m a big fan of supporting local resturants over big chains, particularly for pizza, so I’ll contunue to be give Pappy’s chance and will improve my rating if...

I ordered a margarita pizza and had it delivered. They delivered a pizza with NO MARINARA SAUCE, NO FRESH MOZZARELLA, NO FRESH BASIL, and VERY LITTLE DICED TOMATOES. Very unlike the picture shown on the website. It was basically a white pizza with some diced tomato on it. When we called, the guy who answered the phone said he cooked it himself - just try it b/c that's the way they make it there. But the pic shows a REAL MARGARITA PIZZA with fresh mozzarella, basil and marinara sauce. Then when we tried it, we called back b/c it was so disgusting. He said, "what do you want me to do about it". We said how about a credit b/c the pic you show on the website is NOT the pizza that was delivered. 9/22/24. Sunday staff is terrible! Unprofessional and incompetent. Drove 40 minutes for a bunch of attitude NO FOOD! Showed up for my order to a bunch of whispering to each other obviously there was a problem with my order. Not even ready or even started. Didn't even get any acknowledged or any plan or response of what was wrong or what I was to expect. I had to ask again "so you didn't even make my order"?
