I walked in to the Da’ Bayou shop at 3501 Old Greenwood Rd. on July 24, 2023. The “Open” light was on and the door was unlocked. It was 8:59 p.m. There were 3 girls working. The tall girl with the big eyes refused to serve me because she had already counted the drawer. She quickly flipped the “Open” sign off while I was standing there. I told her I could pay with cash if that would make things easier. She still refused. I quietly left. We always loved this place when they were on the trailer by Harps, (so that’s why 3 and not 2 stars )but the last visit we had this weekend was very disappointing. The girls working only topped the cones with syrup, instead of filling some in the middle, leaving the middle and bottom dry and flavorless. I’ve never had to at happen at any snowcone place before. I’ve only been twice. They were very nice both times…I think it depends on who is making the snow cones.
