The good: The custard was excellent, and the ingredient choices were plenty. My girl got that and has been wanting more. The pretzel knots were good, as was the cheese. Onion rings good. Fries surprisingly stayed crisp the whole time, and I was glad for this.
The meh: The interior was basic, which I don't hate. But there's a TV that just plays Culver's material the whole time, which I find tacky and shameless. It's their restaurant and they can do as they please but... it's their restaurant. Why do they need to promote while you're already there?
The bad: They burnt the bread on my Swiss patty melt. Like, super charred it. I'm sure the sandwich would have tasted like, well, a standard Swiss patty melt, which would be good, but it was pretty much just char and grease falling apart in my hand. Her sandwich (I can't recall which) was also greasy. A guy at work asked how I liked my first visit there, I told him the sandwich was burnt, he complained he feels like he needs a shower after eating there, and that summed it up perfect. BUT! I will say the grease adds flavor, so only neat freaks be afraid. I feel it's also pertinent to add, for people who are overly sensitive about customer service, the guy that brought the food forgot my drink. When I went to the counter, there was a woman sitting in a chair, I let her know, and she wordlessly handed me a cup. I don't expect niceties, though I'm sure they're all trained to say polite things, but I know many people take that kind of "service without a smile" personally.
Overall, as someone who was taken there by his girlfriend who paid for it all, I give it a 75%, mostly because they burnt the bread. Also, this was just the one location. I'm sure others do it better, and some...
Read moreUpfate May 2024: The quality and accuracy of the custards have gone down a lot. I tried getting a concrete mixer of raspberriers and cherries, and a malt of rasperberries and strawberries. The concrete mixer was great for the only first 15 minutes, then it became a beverage of old milk. Normally, concrete mixers used to never take that quickly to spoil. The malt was inaccurate in the taste aa evident by the streaks of brown and green. The workers may have not cleaned off the mint and chocolate remaining on the nozzles.
They take forever to get onto orders, and the workers do not seem at all happy. I sjggest pickup or dining if you must.
Old review: The custard is amazing! The toppings are always seemingly fresh. One of my top locations for a cold desert! Fairly inexpensive compared to other desert locations. The pint deals for the custard is another bargain as you can grab a pre-made or request a custom. I have had a few times especially near closing times employees have denied customized pints.
My only concern is the lack of gloves present in the food making. With experience in fast food industry, word of mouth, and online information, I am very shocked by the lack of safety. (The person’s hand is above the ice cream, not on the slide.)
Also please keep in mind for anyone who does have a limit for richness or sugar, request for a small amount of marshmallow (crème) topping. I am not sure if it is the amount or the richness, but it overpowers the taste of the custard and...

The staff was upbeat, and my wait was short. When my dinner arrived, my order was hot and well packed. I ate my meal in my car in the parking lot - YUM! The basket comes with lemon wedges for the crispy, tender shrimp. I drizzed each shrimp with fresh sqeezed lemon, then dipped them into a tasty tartar sauce (their cocktail sauce is mighty good too) and my onion rings were beautifully battered and fried to perfection.
Quite a few of us eat a drive-thru meal in our cars on occasion, but I doubt you could get a such a treat for your tastebuds anywhere else. My heavens, it was sooo darn good!
Once done, I used the squeezed lemons to remove the last of the frying oil from my fingers and the generous napkins to clean up my hands and lips. But somehow, I couldn't get the happy grin off my face. Loved my...
