Our server and the overall value and food saved this experience and will keep us coming back—however, especially for three foodies’ first time experience at this place, some of the staff’s demeanor was extremely unacceptable.

The service from almost every woman employee we encountered was really odd. From the moment my friend and I walked in, the vibe from the hostess working the evening of 5/29 was extremely off. She seemed annoyed to help us, kept giving us weird looks and genuinely seemed pissed off to serve us. I asked my friend if it was just me or did she seem really rude? And she agreed, lady seemed annoyed the moment she saw us. We also reserved a patio seating and she sat us inside, but her poor attitude made me not want to speak up or deal with her so we just accepted it. Our third and final party member showed up minutes after we were seated and was going to just walk to our table and the hostess also went swinging at her with the same unwelcoming attitude and treated her like she didn’t belong, made her walk all the way back to the hostess stand, acted as if she hadn’t JUST sat us and like she couldn’t find my reservation when she gave her the name. Rolled her eyes and seemed mad to seat her and brought her to our table. We’ve each been to far fancier restaurants and were not treated like this—there were other customers walking around wearing sweatpants and she wanted to treat us like we didn’t belong? Someone needs to let her know that it’s not up to her to decide if a customer fits the aesthetic.

Another woman working (medium build, long hair in a ponytail clip) serving the pizzas also gave us the same “f—you” energy when we would say no thank you or yes please to an offering. Customers shouldn’t be made to feel like we’re bothering the employees by patronizing the business.

I can’t remember our main server’s name, but he was bald and had an accent and was highly committed to the service experience and made up for all of the off vibes from some of the women on the staff. We noticed the guys on staff were happy to work while all of the customer-facing ladies save for one or two, seemed to hate their jobs and the customers for the most part. Not sure if it’s a workplace morale or culture problem, but as a former customer service manager, these ladies need either a quick attitude adjustment or to stop working a customer-facing job.

All of that said, some people who don’t like their jobs will not keep us from coming back with our loved ones! This place...

Delucca Gaucho Pizza & Wine is a buffet that serves you a variety of different pizzas. I went here for the first time on a Friday evening, and although the experience was nice, I wouldn't visit again.

Upon being seated, you're served a Chef Made Lobster Bisque with Brandy, an Arugula Salad, and House Made Kobe Meatballs. You get a shot's worth of Lobster Bisque, a small plate of Arugula Salad that you share between two people, and one Kobe meatball. Though the amount of appetizers you get is very minimal, you'll get full on the pizza--after all, that's why you're there.

Out of the 14 savory pizzas, we only liked a handful, literally. The best pizza there, hands-down, is the Hot Sopressata, and it's the only pizza I would even want to try again. Because of that, it's also the only reason I would return which isn't worth it.

The dessert pizzas were sweet and unique. It's not everyday when you get to eat dessert pizzas like this. My favorite is definitely the Nutella while my least favorite is the Romeo & Juliet.

As for customer service, it's a bit different. Because I didn't order alcohol (but my significant other did, after I declined), I felt a change in our server's enthusiasm until my significant other mentioned he would like some alcohol. I understand this is a place where people dine and wine, but I think it's unprofessional to practically force someone to drink alcohol (when I don't like alcohol) to receive good service. In addition to this, our server only made sure we were fine for a few times; he also didn't let us know that we should flip our card over when we would like some pizzas. Yes, he did ask us if it was our first time but never mentioned it. Meanwhile, the server who was serving the table next to us, went above and beyond to ensure we were getting the pizzas we wanted to try and that everything was going smoothly. Our goal was to try all of the pizzas, and majority of the time, we were skipped over so we stayed longer than we would have like. However, the server who's been so kind to us, made sure that pizzas were coming our way.

Overall, I don't think I will be returning. I only really liked one of their pizzas, so it's definitely not worth the $25 buffet. The service was great (thanks to the other server that...

Really disappointed in my experience at Delucca Fort Worth. The staff tried their best to clean up the mess but the GM forgot her customer service skills. Here’s what happened. We had a reservation 15 people at 7:30. It was 820 before we were ever seated. We were told there was another party at our table and they would not ask them to leave even though the restaurants policy is two hours at a table. Once we were seated, additional chaos began drinks were ordered and received about 20 minutes after we ordered them. Pizzas came very slowly. In fact, some of our party did not get their first slice of pizza until almost 30 minutes after we were seated. The service kept skipping over them I would run out. We expressed our concerns several time to the manager and she tried her best to make it right. At the end of the night we were told by the manager that would be a discount given for the troubles that we had had. When we received the bill, the discount was not there. I asked the server to check with her manager, who had authorized the discount. There was also a 20% gratuity added to the bill due to our party size. We are more than happy to tip, and to take care of servers. But the service that we received was not deserving of a 20% tip. The general manager then came to the table and we explained our frustration and asked for the gratuity to be removed and to allow us to give what we wanted. She said no she would not do that and furthermore we were rude and we were not to be allowed back into the restaurant. You know you can’t be mad at me for being frustrated when we started our night almost an hour beyond our reservation time that set the time for the rest of the night. It’s unfortunate and I wish the general manager and the staff at Deluca much success in their careers but with this type of training from their general manager, I’m not sure what the staff is going to learn that will make...

Holy Moly, pizza fans! This is Pizza Heaven. Sixteen (yes 16) pizzas. How many do you get to eat??? All of them ( yes, all of them). First of all this is a lovely restaurant, classy yet homey. We were warmly greeted and shown to our table. Our server Jessica, explained the " way of the gaucho pizza". First we were served an appetizer of lobster bisque, a meatball in marinara sauce, and a generous portion of arugula salad with a delicious lemon vinaigrette. All were super tasty. Then...the pizza began arriving. Just like the Brazilian steak houses where servers offer small portions of different meats, here the servers have pizza, Sixteen different and delicious varieties of pizza brought to our table hot and fresh. The crust is thin and crispy with the signature char if a wood fired pie. We began our pizza odyssey counting and comparing, then gave up and said, " just bring it." Some of offerings to scarf up included pepperoni, 4 cheese, and margherita, followed by bbq sausage, Buffalo chicken, chicken and cream cheese, chicken Tikka Masala, Turkish lamb, and spicy salami and honey. Then there was the spinach and bacon, the Mexican elote, and the breakfast pizza. I know I'm forgetting some, although all were as perfect as their description. Tonight three dessert pizzas were also served, coconut dulce de leche, Nutella, and my personal favorite, banana flambe. I only got pictures of the dessert pizzas because we just kept eating! I also snapped a picture of Brian cutting a pie fresh from that beautiful oven. It was a great evening from start to finish. We left in a pleasant pizza coma, hoping to become regulars here.

This place is amazing! I didn’t know what to expect when I walked in for my first time last evening, but was pleasantly surprised by the shining white subway tiled interior and the beautiful vaulted ceiling. In very little time we were escorted to our table in the center of the restaurant. As far as first impressions go, the incredible cleanliness and atmosphere spoke volumes of what to expect next. From our table we could see the open kitchen with the traditional brick pizza oven, the exquisite bar with green velveteen seats and gold piping, as well as several attentive staff rotating the different pizzas to each table. Our waiter, Nick Perrotti, told us there were 22 types of pizzas, and expertly explained the concept of the restaurant after we told him it was our first time. He was very on point and even made recommendations as to which he liked best. The meal started with a light arugula salad, delicious meatballs, and lobster bisque. Once the paper tab was turned to the green side, the pizza came by fast and plentiful. The trick here is PACE YOURSELF. Each slice we tried was incredible, and an original recipe. My personal favorites that I recommend are the Turkish Lamb, the Chicken Tikka Masala, and for dessert the Italian Nutella. The bartender is also a well-schooled professional who makes a fantastic Maple Old Fashioned. The two owners who created this concept have really done an excellent job of combining the experience of a Brazilian steakhouse and a brick fire pizzeria. I recommend you try this place because I’m sure it will become one of your favorites!
