El Patron Tacos Y Tortas — Restaurant in Fort Worth

So check this out, I went to Taco Fuerte. A taco fest event, they were perfect in fact I even stated to the owner that I'll stop by and check out your location (since I am an addict taco eater ).

I went to the location next to a Shell gas station, I went in and me, my daughter and friend went to order. This is where the issues begin!! I started to order and the lady in the photos cuts me off and states we don't have such and such and such. I mean she could have stated stated that from the beginning prior to ordering.

So we went on to order and she didn't even bother asking do you want a drink with that and get this I went to put my phone number in since I am a Five Star Rewards Member, she said our machine doesn't work so she wouldn't let me put my phone number in, clearly the app was on because I logged in to the app and selected the location so I stated to her and showed her on my phone "then why does it work for me on the app and sent you a pin"

Her reply: It is not working.

Anyways, we get our food and IT DID NOT TASTE GOOD, the trompo was from the day of Taco Fest, and I asked her why does your meet taste dry and funny she replied back by saying "if you don't like the meat try something different", i was like WOW....

I don't recommend this place not after all the trouble and issues...

Tacos are served with cilantro, onion, grilled onions, chile toreado, and limes on the side .Just had 3 tacos de tripa and 3 de trompo. Trompo wasnt bad not salty and it was well seasoned but not top notch. Tripas tacos were skimpy barely any tripas more crunchy and toasty than crispy. Im picky with tacos and their tortillas need help. Maybe a stronger yellow corn would be better to help disguise the conservative additive taste.

Green sauce had great flavor but complete lack of heat, luckily the chile toreado picked up that tab.

For drink i had lemonade which was made from concentrate and not fresh squeezed. Big disappointment .

6 tacos and 1 agua fresca was $14.

Overall its a solid 3 but seems like thats their ceiling. With many other options in the area ill probably never stop by again but it's ok for a quick taco fix if you're already pumping gas at the...

Authentic mexican tortas, burritos, nachos, and more. The portion sizes are huge, so you more than get your money's worth. They were not strong English speakers when we went, but they tried their hardest. Food was delicious and flavorful. I got a hot Torta with carnitas, my wife got a heaping plate of Barbados nachos, and my daughter got a beef burrito the size of her head.
