I ordered from them this Sunday morning through UberEats (3-17-19). I got the BLT that came with a side and a drink. I specified extra utensils and napkins and no ice. I got one fork, a handful of napkins, and a cup full of ice. I know that my note for my order was seen because the person who prepared my food gave me the correct drink I asked for, just with ice. My BLT was what looks like store-bought bread, lightly toasted, with mayo and lettuce, tomatoes, and bacon. In the app, there’s a section labeled “Extras” that gave me an option for “onionring” (singular, not plural, so I thought it was an add on for the sandwich). I did not realize this was an upcharge for a substitution, not an addition. My fries were replaced with onion rings. I wish this had been made more clear, I would have ordered fries instead. My BLT wasn’t any better than what I could have made at home and was difficult to eat because it fell apart. The flavors were fine, though. The bacon, lettuce, and tomato were all crisp, the bread was just too thin to hold it all. The onion rings were alright but one of them was an entire sliced section of onion that had been battered so I got more batter than onion, even though there were multiple layers of onion. Those were really the star of the show compared to the BLT. Overall I paid $7-ish for this even after tipping my driver so I guess I can’t be that upset. I got my Sunday morning breakfast but I feel like if I were to give this place another shot, it won’t be for a sandwich, and I’ll be more direct with my instructions. Apparently “extra utensils and napkins, no ice in the drink” wasn’t clear enough.

If anyone from the restaurant reads this: what’s that weird piece of cardboard I got in my bag with writing on it? No complaints about it cause it didn’t affect my food, I’m...

Man never judge a book etc....here's a prime example I looked up this place and ernt off the pictures which looked AWESOME so I get there and okay its old and shabby but my experience tells me that means nothing.....anyway they were not busy. But man the waiter totally lacked seasoning asked if I needed a menu of course first timer I did. Well almost 15min later and several clearing my throats and finally got pepes' attention. Too bad the food quality was poor and highly processed....how can you mess up scrambled eggs oh yeah overcooked and burn it thays how. And my double hash came from a bag nope not what I signed up for........not too mention i could get refilled even after making it aware i needed it. Finally I just got up and got it myself unbelievable. So I could have just microwaved some eggs in my hotel room and got bterr eggs but the hash browns from a bag definitely sucked....and my chickenfriesfried steak most definitelycame from a bix or bag........all in all I do not believe i would make this mistake again......seeing my neighbors at the next table that steak and eggs looked half good to me visually...so yeah total disappointment all the way around.......hey at least my toast was not burnt and I think it was...

I've heard soooo much about this place, (prices stuck in the 80's) so I finally got myself in here for a Sunday lunch (helps avoid the crowds) to find out for myself! Yay for me!

What a great story behind this place (you should read it), and the actual owner waited on me today... Whoa!?!? On a Sunday?!?! and why not...he runs a business, and what a business it is!

I dined in, grabbed a cool, green, retro table, ordered the 3 taco (pollo, shredded beef, ground beef) lunch with 2 sides, (green beans and rice). For dessert, how about a slice of warm apple pie with hot coffee?

Taco's we're tasty, with crispy corn tortillas, and the sides were awesome. Even those green beans 😂 love em...

As I sat there awaiting my order, I couldn't help but feel as if my own "Tia Rosa'' was going to bring me lunch herself.

Simple, clean, humble and sincere, this place is legit. I like it...and so do all the locals!

All that for $9.50...so my tip ended up being more than my bill ✔️

I'm now a customer who will continue to support this unique...

Had the chilaquiles. Great choice, and don't letthat average liking salsa fool you it has a little heat to it. And the Pico? Not your regular run of the mill mild Pico, oh no. This is real Pico with a very real punch. Waitress was very lovely friendly, fast, well mannered and not pushy. The whole chilaquiles platter, two breakfast biscuits, coffee, and an apple juice (bottle) all for a whopping $14.75. The plate covers with hash browns, beans, eggs with chorizo, chilaquiles, Pico, and a cup of salsa got plenty full even shared with my toddler my brother had the biscuits and juice. Both full, a new favorite for sure

I try to give small "Mom & Pop" places support, but this one was a HUGE disappointment. The best thing I tasted from this place was the water! We went in for breakfast and nothing was seasoned at all. I ordered a shredded beef omelet with bacon and cheese. As well as pancakes with sausage. No flavor on ANYTHING! Worse than diabetic hospital food. I'm not sure how this place was ever rated 4 stars, but it isn't a good restaurant now. My wife ordered Steak Rancheros that was also bland and slightly overcooked. The service was also really slow. Waited over 30 minutes for very subpar food.
