Fort Worth Food Works — Restaurant in Fort Worth

I certainly wish someone anyone would have shared that this is NOT restaurant. This is a futuristic pick up take out order place. You walk in and there is a touch screen, there are numbered boxes. You never see humans…..I’m sure the food is excellent, but this is not for me. I STILL enjoy being around live humans. ** We came back when we were on the way home and we were not disappointed….well?? Kinda. The Pastrami Pit was amazing!!!! We got to the keiosk and it was 7:03 but the Pastrami owner allowed me to order and OMG! The Pastrami Dip was HUGE! Worth every penny!!! The MQ burger we ordered was so juicy and flavorful! The fried egg squirted all over and created an amazing sauce!! The onion rings were so amazing they were still crunchy after a 20min drive home. The sweet potato fries were really good. The sauces!!! The sauces!!! The only thing that was NOT good was the spanakopita which had zero…actually zero spinach or anything inside. It was an empty pastry from the great Greek...

One piece of advice to customers? Call your order in! We came in from outta town. So we didn't realize that we'd be sitting around waiting a hour on food. We ordered a few different items from a few different kitchens. Everything tasted good except the meat pies- those did not taste good at all- highly disappointed. But we also ate cornbread, baked beans, mashed potatoes, fries, yellow rice, yams, & chocolate chip cookies, which all tasted great! The Lemonade & red Kool-aid was really good too! The (white) man behind the counter (sounded like he has a speech problem) was super great- he was very informative, friendly, nice, knowledgeable, & helpful- I wish I would have gotten his name- he needs a raise!!! I didn’t know this business and the concept existed. (Multiple restaurants/kitchens under one roof.) Brilliant!!! I live in the Sunnyvale area and was in Ft. Worth on business and decided I wanted some GOOD soul food. ( I am a former resident of Ft. Worth). I googled, saw your name and info and decided to stop in. A little confused on the actual location, so I called. The young lady I spoke with confirmed I was in the right place. (I forgot her name, forgive me.) However, she was absolutely Awesome!!! Great customer service and the food was Da Bomb! It was hot, seasoned, large portions and delicious. I was glad I stopped in, made my visit worth it. I will definitely be back and tell others about you guys.
