Alright, buckle up because we're about to dive into the world of Esperanza's Restaurant & Bakery, where the flavors collide with the chaos of a Saturday evening. Picture this: you walk into the joint, and it's packed. I mean, it's louder than a Metallica concert, with people yapping away at each other like there's no tomorrow. If you're looking for a quiet, romantic dinner, you might want to rethink your life choices.

But hey, you're a warrior, so you soldier on and place your order. You go all in with the Beef Fajitas plate and the Carne De Puerco En Chile Rojo, which sounds like a title from a Spanish dictionary that nobody ever bothered to read. The waiter, bless his soul, senses your impatience and throws in some chips and salsa to keep you from going full-on Hulk mode while you wait for the main course. Now that's some smart thinking right there.

And when the food finally arrives, oh boy, it's like they emptied a barnyard onto your plate. The Beef Fajitas are sizzling with flavor, so tender you could probably cut them with a smile. And let's not forget the Carne De Puerco En Chile Rojo. This dish is like a flavor explosion in your mouth, a fiesta of spice and succulence that'll make you question every bland meal you've ever eaten before.

But here's the kicker: the portions are massive, I mean Texas-sized massive. You're gonna need a forklift to finish that plate. And the best part? The price won't leave you broke like your ex did. It's a good deal, my friend, a delicious steal.

Now, let's talk ambiance. Remember how I mentioned the noise level earlier? Yeah, it's like being in the middle of a bullring during the running of the bulls. So, if you're planning on having an intimate conversation, you might as well learn sign language because nobody's hearing a damn thing. But hey, who needs deep conversations when you have mouth-watering food in front of you, right?

All in all, Esperanza's Restaurant & Bakery is a wild ride. The chaos, the noise, the portions that could feed an army, and the flavors that'll make your taste buds go, "Holy guacamole!" It's a place where culinary delights meet a party atmosphere. So, bring your appetite, your earplugs, and get ready for a memorable experience that'll leave you with a belly full of goodness and a smile...

This would be an excellent place to come and eat with your co-workers. It has a nice environment, Spanish music playing in the background and yet, you can still carry out a conversation. There are many tables, so even when it is full, they have tables. With $10-$15 you can have a decent meal and a drink. When you first come in the waiters will come and sit you in a table according to your group size. You will be given two menus to choose from. They serve breakfast (pancakes too), tortas, sopas, ceviche, tacos, arroz con leche and more. Their taco selection is not that big...they have shredded meat, ground beef, pork...and I can't remember the rest...but you will definitely not find the wider variety of lengua, tripas, asada, cesos, and so fort. You will get free salsa and chips to enjoy while waiting for your food. The wait is about 7-10 minutes but we'll Worth it. When I went there I wanted tacos...but due to the small variety I opted for something else. I got agua de limón, and ate some salsa and chips. I saw that they served ceviche in tostada and I wanted to try it out. One only... because I am super picky with my ceviche. I dislike cocktail of ceviche...and I prefer my ceviche in a tostada...I dislike it when restaurant make ceviche with cucumber, or put ground pepper, it gives it a totally different flavor. I am ok if it has jalapenos, and carrots, but the basic ingredients are a must... tomatoes, cilantro, onions, lime juice marinated fish and salt. Their ceviche smelled amazing, it had the basic ingredients, plus jalapeno and two slices of avocado. I didn't add hot sauce so that I could savor the food. Oh my goodness!!! I rarely find a restaurants that add a certain perennial herb that is a must to make this dish amazing!! As soon as I smelled the dish I knew what herb was added, and when I took a bite, my assumption was correct. I am not mentioning the name of the herb because... well....it is a secret... at least in my family it is, because it is what gives it a POW!!!! I rarely find a restaurant that uses that specific herb on their ceviche. I was greatly satisfied and I had to rant on...

I know we are going thru the COVID 19. But that does not mean that the quality of the food should go down hill because of this. The fresh made pork rinds that they have looked like they had been cooked months ago. They were so dried out that they looked like they were hard as a rock. They looked like they were so old that you would think they would be paying us to take them off their hands. But no they still sell them at the full rate that you would pay if you were getting fresh made ones. Also they use to give you tortillas, and pico with your order if you bought the meats by the pound so you could make you tacos at home and enjoy it. Now all they sell you is the meat and if you nees the extras you have to pay for it all separately. God forbid you ask for pico. You pay the full price for the small container of pico and it cost 2.49 + tax and when you get it. What you know as pico is not what you get. Pico is the tomatoes, onions and peppers. What we got was just onions and tomatoes. Where were the peppers? That was not pico at all. The meat was good but it was a great disappointment to find out that you do not get the same service that you use to get before COVID 19. I will go back to my other place that gives me the same quality of meat but at least with them I don't have to pay extra for the pico and the tortillas. The only thing is I have to pay in cash with them and here I was able to us my debt card. Its not worth the convience of paying with a card if I have to pay extra and not get what I ask for. E will get my service for now on and I will make sure I tell my family and friends to not come here either. Unless they want to...
