WineHaus has dialed their charm to 'abundant', customer service to 'excellent', and overall experience as 'second-to-none'. This space is the place if you're looking for a quality evening out in a setting that offers more sound and less noise.
Even when the space is crowded, you don't have to compete for volume in order to maintain the pace of your conversation. The atmosphere is rich with creative expression and seems to, perhaps deliberately, serve as a muse in the way it fosters the creative spirit of it's guests. From poets to painters, musicians to mechanics of the mind - you'll find all sorts here and find it easy to enter into conversation with them all.
The wine selection is curated for both the connoisseur and the less discerning - with each selections story expertly known by those serving it, should you care to learn more about what is going in your glass or would like some guidance to best please your palate. They even have a small craft beer selection.
All of this is the 'tip of the iceberg' as the Haus has more recently (2021) re-opened with organized tastings, chef developed brunches and holiday meals, jazz nights, local artist featured works on display, and more such as event space rental for their upstairs (or perhaps the entire building).
Added Bonus Chadra Mezza & Grill, or "Chadras" - located next door is an almost too good to be true Mediterranean restaurant worth visiting prior to your stop into WineHaus. Although, if you're wanting the best of both worlds, Chadras offers a limited menu to guests at WineHaus. (I encourage tipping extra in this case as they are putting in some extra steps to provide that...

Read moreGreat neighborhood spot to enjoy drinks and conversation, and it’s not loud. Choose indoors or the patio behind the building.. There is a small parking lot in the back and you can enter the Wine Haus through the patio as well.
Most of their furniture indoors can be moved around, and there is a large room upstairs with its own bar for events and larger groups. The downstairs room is set up well for a few smaller groups to have their own space, and there is some bar seating.
I’ve seen games being played, knitting, discussion groups, and they have live music sometimes with food trucks.
Friendly service, and you can order food to be delivered or walk across the street to pick up something at the classic Neighborhood Grill. Great diner food and don’t miss their pies. The Wine Haus offers charcuterie as well.
Parking is primarily in the lot behind the building or on the street. You may need to walk a bit if the lot and spots in the front are full.,,
Make the Wine Haus a regular stop! They also offer beer and alcohol-free options if you’re not in a...
