Griff's Hamburgers — Restaurant in Fort Worth

Best place for burgers anywhere. I love Griff's. You can't eat there every day because it's fast food, what do you expect. But you will want to go back again and again. I always get a burger with jalapeños and bacon. The burger is absolutely simple yet so robust and full of meaty flavor. It tastes like it's freshly sizzled from the grill because it was. The fries are nothing special. They aren't bad but they aren't going to knock your socks off either. They are best fresh and hot from the back. But the burger tastes like it came fresh off the grill at home. A1.

Edit: I go here so many times I've gained weight. Trying to lose weight but it's hard. The other day I tried the chili cheese fries. Pretty good, but nothing exceptional. They should have put shredded cheese on top. They have it but they put the chili and like nacho cheese but less thick. They should sprinkle in some shredded cheddar. I also tried the steak sandwich which I think is supposed to be chicken fried steak. Not a horrible sandwich but no flavor to the steak patty. The chicken bacon sandwich I tried as well. It's a little better but I'm sad to report it lacks flavor as well. But better than the steak sandwich. It was decent about 5 bucks if you just get the sandwich. Good for a light meal but it won't fill you up. Last is the hot link. 5.99 for the hot link, fries and a drink. Again, good for a light meal. It's not gonna load you down like a burger. The flavor of the hot link itself is nice, it's spicy and they added some BBQ sauce. They only think I didn't like was they just use white bread. I wish they'd used some type of hot dog or link bun. The BBQ sauce soaks the bread and makes it flimsy but it'll be gone before you have a chance to make a mess. I like that they have different options. Next time, I go I want to try their shakes. I regularly stop by here to enjoy their food. I placed an order for the combo 4, waited for some time for my order. Before leaving, I complimented the girl at the window that I love their food, much better than in and out. Finally arrived home only to realize I didn’t get my fries. (For some reason there were 4 pieces of fries in my bag, no fries bag).

I’m all about principle, I didn’t get what I paid for. I tried calling the location several times but they weren’t picking So I drove back. Instead of going through the drive thru, I walked in and spoke with James, the manager on duty. I politely explained to him the situation, also the fact that I’m not upset with him directly but that I didn’t get my order right so I’m back here. I dove 10 mins home and 10 mins back here because my order did not come with fries as I paid for. I would like to be compensated for this mishap and for having to drive back here to get this rectified. I asked him for extra fries for this mishap but he said no. He can only remake my order or refund me. What???

He showed no signs of customer service or care of my situation, I have been put through such a waste of my time. Another customer saw what was happening and told James that he lacks customer service and shouldn’t be in this line of work if he’s going to treat customers like that. Another customer chimed in but retracted his comments because he realized he was wrong.

Again I’m all about principle so I opted to get a refund. Why pay my hard earned money to a company that doesn’t value their customers especially then they messed up? I will not dine here again unless I get an...

People love to hype up places that have been around for yrs, but that doesn't mean the food & service is the same. The meals at Griffs where prepared 100% times better back in the day. The manager and the employees were very nice but my overall meal was disappointing. I ordered the combo #5, asked for mayo, mustard, and extra onions. I saw no sign of extra onions or mayo. The combo #5 comes with a hamburger with 2 meat patties, lg fries & drink. The meat patties were thinner than I remember. I haven't been to Whataburger in yrs but I felt like the meat was similar. The onion rings were good and came out hot. I asked for no ice with my soda and guess what they gave me ICE. The strawberry shake and fries were decent. I wouldn't order the apple pie, it wasn't good. I heard 2 people complain to the manager that their fries were cold. My fries were a little warm but not hot like other fast-food burger joints. I overheard people mention that their orders were wrong, but I didn't say anything. However, I still can't believe they got my order wrong the cashier repeated my order back to me several times smh. So would I go here again? No, there are too many burger places that are better. The establishment looks really nice after the remodel. But, I really can't deal with the thin meat patties and employees not getting orders correct. Hopefully they make changes after my review, but I doubt it because people continue to hype the place up regardless of many...
