Absolutely love it!!! As a regular customer at the Hashi in Watauga, I was thrilled when they opened a new location in Saginaw. While the menu has some slight differences, the additions have only enhanced the experience. The most exciting new offerings are their fruit and milk teas. As a bubble tea lover, I couldn't wait to try them, and OMG, their fruit tea is incredible! It's even better than many dedicated boba shops. Highly recommend y’all to give their drinks a try! For my meal, I ordered the kids' steak and tofu, which was as tasty as always. I also tried the new Saginaw roll, and it was absolutely impressive! Hashi in Saginaw is definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to. Highly recommend it for both the food and the amazing new drinks!

When you walk in, it's almost like it's set up for to go food. Food is served in to go containers, cups are clear plastic cups and all of the condiments are single serving. This doesn't detract from the food, though. I ordered a luxury chicken and steak combo, and the two others in my party ordered teriyaki tofu and teriyaki chicken. Portions are a decent size, and the morsels of protein were tender. The vegetables were also cooked properly. The protein and vegetables are served on either fried or steamed rice and noodles. We ordered a California roll and it was also decent. Price is manageable, and we spent $80 for three servings, two orders of egg rolls with the California roll, plus tip.

Had the teriyaki chicken, man it was good. I got the fried rice, it was so tasty & flavorful. The chicken was tough & bland but the dish as a whole was amazing. The veggies were also very good. Also had one of the egg rolls, it was very good as well; great flavor & well cooked. I was disappointed to find out they charge more when ordering online, even though we picked it up.

The luxury combo featuring steak, chicken, vegetables and fried rice is highly overpriced for what you get. It's 17 dollars for one meal, compare that to Benihana and you can get a much better fried rice meal/hibachi option for around the same price.

Not sure how it is at the Watauga location, but here, the luxury combo is drowned in soy sauce. That's really all you taste. The rice gets soggy because of it and it doesn't even taste like fried rice when you compare it to other restaurants. The steak and chicken are cooked nicely though, I just think this meal in particular needs a different recipe and very little soy sauce.

The boba milk tea I get from here is very good and it is one of my favorites, but again, it's expensive - at 7 dollars.

Maybe try restructuring the menu and make items more reasonably priced?

We have gone twice now, once to try the sushi and the second to try the hibachi/teriyaki. Our response both times was: "it's fine." While there aren't too many sushi options around, this fails to impress. The rolls fell apart so easily, and ingredients were not fresh. The eel sauce was yummy, but one of our rolls had crab on top, which overpowered all other flavors. The noodles in the hibachi/teriyaki bowls were also very stale and tasted like they had been in the pantry for months. The teriyaki sauce was much better than the sauce included in the hibachi, but overall it was just bland. Both times, we got the gyoza as well, which were good, though the dipping sauce was surprisingly not great. For $40 both times, it was definitely not worth it and will probably be...
