Halfway done but this food is very delicious! The coffee is so good! The green salsa is very well balanced as far as flavor and spicy, very traditional! The way the restaurant is decorated reminds a lot of my grandmothers house, country and traditions! If you are looking for place with traditional and flavorful Mexican food then this is the place for you! 🙌

Went with family for a brunch and we were not disappointed! I had the menudo and it was very good! Not just meat, it had plenty of it! But I like my menudo with hominy and there was a good amount. Everyone else enjoyed their meals as well

This was my second time visiting the restaurant and it won't be my last. Even though I live in New Mexico, Los Zarapes will be my regular stop. Personal customer service and great food!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE; FOOD ISN’T GOOD AND NEITHER IS THE SERVICE So I will leave a review, but I honestly doubt that the owners or people who works here would care based on my experience; anyway here it goes for those or you who are considering visiting this establishment: I went there with a group of friends and chips and salsa was placed on our table. The chips tasted stale and the “salsa” was a red watery mixture in a bowl and the most horrible thing I’ve ever tasted then I ordered from the menu a 2 burrito plate with rice, beans and guacamole instead I got the rice and beans but 2 tacos instead of burritos 🤦🏻‍♀️ I told that to the server and she didn’t answered anything just dismissed me. Another person in the table didn’t ate her food because in wasn’t good. Oh no fountain soda and the options were can soda or Mexican soda, word of advice don’t get the “Mexican soda” I REPEAT DO NOT ORDER THE MEXICAN SODA I don’t know how much was the can soda, but the Mexican soda was $4.00 !!! So I paid $12.00 for two tacos (they called burritos, but it’s false advertising) $4.00 for the soda and the taxes a bill of $17.32 for food worth less than $5.00 STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE; FOOD ISN’T GOOD AND NEITHER...

My husband and I stumbled on this place looking for something else. The ambiance was nice and immediately took me back to my childhood days. The place was not crowded, yet we couldn’t understand why the two servers kept ignoring us while we stood at the door. My husband finally asked out loud if we should just seat ourselves? which we did. The first experience didn’t go too well, but we thought it was just a one time occasion and maybe the servers were having a bad day. But we went a second time and the experience was identical as the first. That’s when we realized it’s a norm for this place. The food is good, but the service is horrible. The servers always disappear when you need them and are nowhere to be found. And if you need something or want a refill, you need to yell at them from your table to “come out come out wherever you are.” The servers are young, lazy and lack what it takes to keep the patrons happy. We’d like to say that we’d go back for the good food, but knowing how the customer service sucks, keeps us away. (No chips, no salsa and no customer...

So I rarely leave bad reviews on here. But here’s my side of the story. My husband came here once and told me about this restaurant and he spoke well about it. So i decided to tag along & go with him to try it out. We got there at 10:36am on Saturday, we sat down and not a single employee greeted us. The waiter didn’t even bother to come towards our table. My husband had to wave to get her attention after she helped the people that came in AFTER us. She took our drink order and left. It took her another 30 minutes to even ask what we wanted. I honestly felt ignored. At 11:03 we finally ordered our food and it took another 30 minutes for it to come out. We got served at 11:45am FINALLY. No chips or salsa to eat while waiting & NO REFILLS ON DRINKS. I ordered a Enchilada Plate with Rice & Beans. The chicken was bland, it tasted microwaved. To top it all off there was a Male Beard Hair in my Beans! Which was disgusting... that was the last straw and we left. Poor customer service and not good food. I would NOT recommend anyone...
