Went through the drive thru on Gameday. Wasn't a very large line. Ordered one 16 piece Spicy Chicken Family meal and one 16 piece Spicy Tender Family meal. I had 6 sides available and ordered Mashed potatoes, Rice, Mac n Cheese and Fries. I gladly waited presuming that they were getting large orders. I get my order and pay and head off to my gathering for the game.
This is where my problem comes in.
I was not provided any Rice or Mashed Potatoes and was not provided my full 16 piece Spicy Tenders. Also of note, the tenders were small and really thin like they had battered and fried chicken skin and put that in the box. If there was supposed to be gravy provided with the chicken tenders, we didn't receive that either.
Frustrated that I had spent $80 (Yes, $80) and not received my full order, I called the establishment to see if they would rectify the missing items on my order. I spoke to a lady on the phone (who didn't sound very happy to be answering a phone call) and told her what I was missing. When I told her I was not provided the Rice or Mashed Potatoes or the full 16 pieces of tenders I had ordered, she asked me, "How many were missing?". Confused by why I was asked this question, I said "Um, four". She raised her voice and responded with "4?, 4??" I'm not sure if anyone at this establishment has taken any Customer Service training, but does it matter? I wouldn't be taking time out of my day with friends and family to be making a phone call to Popeyes if you had just provided the service you are paid to deliver. If I order $80 worth of something at ANY place, you best believe I should be expecting every bit of my order fulfilled and the best Customer Service, regardless of the establishment.
They did offer to fulfill the order, which was fine. After the response I got on the phone and being burned yet again (This was not the first time I had not received my full order from this specific location, but I tried to give them a second chance), I could Not Trust them to provide the service I can undoubtedly receive elsewhere.
I don't really write reviews (check my review history). Hope someone important reads this and the others cause looks like I'm not...
Read moreJust read the other 1 star reviews. Their experience will be your experience. You will wait in the drive thru for 30-45 min. During your wait, you will no doubt notice people with messed up orders trying to walk into the building to get them corrected. A bit of foreshadowing. They try to open the door, but it's locked, and no one will answer it. You may see them attempt to call the store. Eventually, it's always the same. They look at the line they just waited in, realizing that's the only way to 'maybe' correct their order, as it would likely be incorrect again. You then watch them leave, saddened and blue. But remember, YOU ARE STILL WAITING IN THIS LINE. If it's past 7pm when you get to the speaker to place your order, good luck getting that chicken sammie playboi. They fresh out. You will finally get to the window, like eventually, keep telling yourself that, cause you have already waited this long. So you get there, finally, and the most amazing customer service happens.. somewhere else you should have gone to chickfila. You are still waiting on your Popeyes, remember? The person at the window will not say a word to you, the entire interaction. Not a "heres your food". Not a "sorry it took so long", eye contact, hand signals. Not even body language other than they could care less. Nothing. He, she, they or them open their window and hold out your food until you take it and immediately close the window. Even in silence, it's the most rude thing someone said to you all day, I guarantee it. Oh yeah, check that bag. Yepp. They got you too.
I live right by this location, and love Popeyes. I would go here potentially twice a week if it weren't literally the most awful experience. If the owner weren't so keen on letting money drive away (the people who were smart and left before putting in an order), they'd fire every manager and completely restaff. I refuse to go to this location. It is exactly what you imagine a 1 star restaurant...
Read moreGiving one star only because I can’t give negative stars. My husband, my toddler, and I Waited in line for 30 minutes (see receipt and clock for proof). We received chicken nuggets that were soggy and undercooked. We asked for sauces that we never received. We also paid for a coke that we had to circle back around for. We attempted to go inside to have this situation corrected, but all of the doors were locked and closed and no one answered the door. We then attempted to call with no answer. We waited for another 30 minutes and we were told to come up to the window and wait again- and we were asked to walk up to the window to get our drink and sauces because “they were to busy” to get it to us. We only received our coke and no sauces again- and worse of it all is everything was rung up! There is a HUGE lack of customer service. The servers were rude and threw attitude when we asked to speak to the manager. They blatantly avoided the situation. We asked to speak to the manager several times. Jasmine, the manager, never even came out to speak to us. Finally, we had a worker refund us. They took back the food just to throw it away (but probably will attempt to resell).
This is the worst customer service I have EVER received. A whole hour wasted! Not only did I have my toddler in the car with us the whole time, but the sheer and utter lack of customer service is appalling! The manager, and entire team, need to be revamped for better food and better experience. I had better faith in...
