Whataburger — Restaurant in Fort Worth

I always like their seasonal burgers, can't go wrong with a patty melt add Jalapeños. Or biscuit and gravy with a taquito(idk why they call it that bc its a burrito). Did you know they don't microwave already cooked meat like some fastfood? Their patties and sausage is raw and cooked in store, and pancakes are mixed in store not frozen. The eggs are really eggs cracked open in the kitchen, not frozen or god knows what. Ppl say they changed everything after the buyout, but from what I've read they didn't actually change anything. That's surprising bc executives only care about numbers, they'll ruin restaurants fast. Thats why small businesses always have the best food, they care about their product, corporations wants cheap and consistency, every location to be uniform, so far it seems Whataburger is sticking with whats worked. If you're taking down a double meat large combo you're eating too much! They are pricey but it'll take 2 or 3 McDonald's burgers to make one Whataburger. Their fries are really good, and their ice cream machine always works. Now I'm thinking about that patty melt double meat with melted Monterey jack cheese, creamy Jalapeños sauce and sautéed onions Jalapeños and Texas toast, french fries, and a mother of the heavens rich and creamy vanilla milkshake with Dr.Pepper syrup! Guess whos back, back again!....I want the same thing every man leaving the bar at 2am...

I went in to order on 8/12/25. The drive through was moving slow. When I get in to order this young black lady was working the register. She had a very bad attitude. Didn’t say hello to the customers who were ordering. She talks very low. I stood in line for 15 minutes. It was two people ahead of me. They were getting other people orders wrong. The lady at the register was walking around with people money in her hand going in the kitchen area. She comes back and still acting like she doesn’t see everyone waiting for their order are trying to order. I was tired of waiting that long to order my food so I left because I had to be at work at 11a. Please work with your staffs and let them know it’s very important to stay on top of their game because you never know who’s watching. I have been an employee with Whataburger back in the 90’s in a different city so I know how long it should take your order to get out. I use to love this place and thought it was one of the best Whataburger around but...

Visited this location for dinner tonight. The main lady who ran the register (Destinee) was extremely rude when I ordered a double cheeseburger with no bun. The look she gave was rude and inconsiderate. I shrugged it off and went on with it. Of course they messed up my sons order and my order....I shrugged it off and asked kindly for it to be handled. Thanks to another lady by he name of Petra. She was very kind and friendly and saved our visit. However, the way Destinee was speaking to Petra was just down right harassment and bullying. Ive been to a lot of Whataburgers mainly because of the friendly Texas hospitality and service. This location should probably reconsider Destinee’s employment and giving Petra a promotion and a raise. Next time, if I’m feeling Whataburger, I’ll probably bypass this one and head to another one just so I don’t have to deal with the rudeness and attitude.
