I am 49 years old at the time of this post. My grandparents were members of Ridglea Country Club for quite a while. I remember, in the 1980s, going swimming almost every day there. We also had dinners and other events, and I remember the servers would serve hot dogs with this outstanding chili that really brought out the flavor. I still remember it to this day. At the pool, there were three diving boards: two small ones and, in the middle, one that went up like 12 to 14 feet in the air. When I was anywhere between kindergarten and second grade, my grandparents paid for swimming instructors, and I learned how to swim.
