Last time I came here was about 5 years ago. Funny story, I thought they were shut down so I didn’t go back. After all those years, I’m glad I came here for Father’s Day. This place may not look like much from the outside but when you walk in it’s welcoming and invites a peaceful atmosphere. I really like how they have this beautiful aquarium towards the entrance. You don’t want to miss it. It’s beautiful and relaxing watching the fish. The place is clean with a large amount of space for lots of booths and tables in the middle. You can expect their food to satisfy your palate and get you full. There’s nothing wrong with the service, just don’t expect fine dining. This is a place where you can enjoy great Vietnamese and Asian fresh food for a reasonable price. I chose the sushi deluxe menu item and there you have it. The infamous dish has 5 raw pieces of sushi - tuna, salmon, yellow tail, white tuna, octopus, and 8 pieces of their California roll. If you love sushi this is a nice place to try out and keep going...

The family behind us, who was there before we walked in, flagged down the waitress to order their drinks, then asked if they could to ahead and order their food, and the waitress scoffed and said, "Can you let me go get my notepad first?" Then walked away.
This is clearly a family owned and ran business. No excuses for not taking customers orders and providing immediate service when they walk in. Especially when your restaurant is empty and especially on an important day like Mother's Day. Hang your heads in shame, ownership.
We paid for our drinks, full price, and walked out. Went to Hanabi next door to the Great Outdoors in 76107 - the ramen...

We ordered the Hollywood Roll ($16), Baked Salmon Roll ($16), and Tiger Roll ($16). All three rolls were delicious. The baked salmon roll was my favorite - the slightly cooked salmon, cream cheese, and avocado were a perfect combo. The other two rolls were also solid. The sushi didn’t feel overwhelmed by the sauces and the fish itself tasted pretty fresh. For the price, it’s a decent portion size and splitting three rolls between two people is enough to really fill both people up. I always get takeout from here, but the restaurant itself has a lot of space and the workers are always really nice. They also have a lot of other things on their menu, but I’ve only had the sushi rolls. Overall, I would recommend this place if you want some good...
