River's Cocktail & Wine Bar — Restaurant in Fort Worth

My wife and I have gone up here twice as being in the neighborhood it’s a close walk. While the pizza is good it’s a bit pricey. That being said both times we’ve gone up the service I wouldn’t say was terrible but at the same time I wouldn’t say was great. Unfortunately if you sit at a non bar seat you do not get much attention. Additionally, a very large complaint I have is that on the drink menu no drink prices are actually listed or at the very least the menus we used. The drinks were very good but it’d be good to know what you are paying at and what price points. Another major complaint I have is that each time we’ve gotten the bill here we are presented a non itemized copy. Due to this you aren’t able to see without asking that all items are on the bill correctly. There’s positives to this place and was hoping this was a weekly/monthly stop. Pizza is delicious but that’s it. I recommend the “Angry Pig”. I’m Hispanic and don’t typically write reviews let alone negative ones but if you’re Hispanic I’d just go for to go orders… you’ll see the difference in service you receive. I live next door and have gone 3 times. 2 of those 3 I waited 15-20 minutes to order they didn’t seem like they wanted to help me and they forgot my order and served other people before me even though they got there and ordered way after I did. (This was only seen by the female bartenders there’s a male that’s caramel complexion I forgot his name but that guy is badass I was about to walk out after I had ordered my drink 15 minutes before that but he took care of me on the fly) if I go back I will only stay...

Great Happy Hour!!

Everyone is happy at this place - Happy Hour lasted until 7 pm!! River’s Cocktail & Wine Bar is a wonderful new addition to the River District.

We went with a crowd from international graduate school and thoroughly enjoyed it! Brian, Mia and all of the folks there were very accommodating for our group of 14. They have an interesting list of cocktails and a nice choice of beers on tap.

The pizzas are excellent too! Since we had a large group, we got to check out a lot of pizzas. We highly recommend these: Tristaroni, Como La Flor, Cheesy Sleezy, Ethans Fredo, and the Angry Pig.
