Frisch's Big Boy — Restaurant in Fort Wright

I will never order from this place again. I've had many many problems with the staff here messing up simple orders, and trying to give me the wrong food like I won't notice. I guess they figure if they don't remember what I ordered, why should I remember as well?

Most recently, I had a complete mix up with my food for a carry-out. Luckily, the other person receiving their order (half of their order and half of mine) stopped to check. The guy behind the counter was absolutely no help, and kept bringing the wrong things out to us, even though he had the order receipts right in front of him! None of the other staff was helpful at all, nor was the manager. The mostly just stared back at me or wandered around the back kitchen. The staff need to actually give a f*.

In the past, I've had order screw-ups like: spaghetti dinner with no sauce (that's right! just noodles!); missing or half orders of fries; missing drinks; completely wrong burgers (turkey lunchmeat instead of a turkey burger? what?); and generally neglectful service. If you want your order to be correct, expect it to given to you wrong, check it, and be prepared to wait for the many corrections.

I've eaten dine-in here before, and the experience was just....ok. Not as many food errors, but some. All in all, do yourself a favor and skip this place entirely. There's a nice Skyline right...

Ordered a mushrooms Swiss with lettuce tomato and onions at drive through. Opened it up... none of those three things. It was clear as as day, simply a matter of reading the ticket. I brought it back in and understandingly (I work food as well) asked them to put them on. Second time around. Onion and tomatos are on... NO LETTUCE. I brought it back in again, same routine. I felt sorry for the person supervising who had to deal with that. Whoever was in the back needs to learn how to read or get fired. I mean it was all right there plain as day.

When it was all over... It wasn't even a great burger anyway. Rubbery meat. God really didn't want me to have a burger today... Disappointing experience all around, and figuratively and literally left a bad taste in my mouth. Tasted like regret and wasted money with a dash of concern. I'll be checking my stool for worms.

... Oh I almost forgot. After three trips, which should only have been one, to finally get a single damn sandwich... and I'd finally started to eat it, I realized I there didn't seem to be any Swiss on it either... On the Mushroom Swiss. That's when I decided to write this review. Absolutely....

We went one weekday evening with a party of 11. The restaurant was mostly empty. Staff seemed to be ignoring us as we waited to be seated. We had to flag down an employee and ask to be seated. She let out a sigh and asked how many in our party. We were finally seated after waiting about 10 min with no one ahead of us and a mostly empty restaurant. The waitress seemed either annoyed or indifferent to everything we said. Expressed annoyance at people in our party ordering drinks with cherry and vanilla. My nephew and I both had dirty silverware with visibly caked on food. When I told the waitress she said, "it happens" and proceeded to bring me a plastic spoon for my soup so I wouldn't get another dirty one. Her words. The vegetable soup tasted like it was old. She brought my sister-in-law a bowl of coleslaw. When she was told she ordered soup, not coleslaw, she argued before bringing the correct item. We were seated by the window and the window sill was visibly dirty. It was a terrible experience. I will not return to this, the Ft. Wright/top of Kyle's...
