Stopped here specifically because my dad wanted their bean soup & hot fudge cake. Store was understaffed in the dining room. Saw multiple orders sitting longer than usual in the window for the server to deliver to her tables while waiting to place our order. The hot fudge cake was not plated as normal. Not a huge deal, but presentation makes the product & this just felt sloppy. Also, has the bean soup recipe changed? I don't recall it being this dark in color in all the years he has been getting the bean soup. He took one spoonful & said it tasted like relish. I tasted it and all I could taste was dill pickles. Not sure what was.going on with that. We asked our server, who apologized & said she didn't know if it had been changed & that it comes to the store pre-made. I asked her who we needed to talk to about that, said she could check with the manager, and went to help her other tables. About 10 minutes or more went by, during which time other employees came out to the pickup counter/registers & loudly talked about schedules, working 2nd 20-hour shift of the weekend, needing to pick up hours, etc.. Manager finally came to our table, apologized for the soup, said not sure if the recipe changed or they were just sent a bad batch, and removed it from our check. Manager was 1 of those talking about schedules, etc. & should know better than to allow employees to discuss such things out in the open, within earshot of customers, much less participate in the discussion & complaining. Not a horrible experience but super disappointing nonetheless.

We are from Pennsylvania and remember “Bob’s” Big Boy from years ago. When we saw “Frisch’s” Big Boy on 3L Highway in Ft. Mitchell, KY we had to try it. When we stopped the manager was helping a woman out to her car. We asked him if he could take our picture with the Big Boy outside and he gladly obliged. We then asked him why “Frisch’s” instead of “Bob’s” he explained that a Mr. Frisch had made his own tartar sauce for the Big Boy instead of the thousand island dressing and this started the new chain. He walked inside with us and promptly seated us. To be honest, my wife was tempted to ask if they had thousand island to use on her Big Boy instead of the tartar but decided to try something new and actually loved it. I had a Buddy Boy with ham & bean soup and it was the awesome - one of the best restaurant meals I’ve ever had. We also downloaded the app for the free hot fudge cake and it was equally delicious! I asked the manager if he had any complimentary hats or mugs when we left and he said that he loved my enthusiasm and gave me a bank! Our server was great and the restaurant was clean. We went again to another location for lunch and again for breakfast on the same trip and again several weeks later on another trip. It will definitely always be a “must stop” whenever we travel and come across one!

Waited a HALF HOUR for Our Food!! From the Drive Thru!! Ridiculous! I will NEVER spend My hard earned money at this Place EVER AGAIN!!! I suggest going elsewhere unless You wanna wait a half hour in the Drive Thru!!!! Beyond Annoyed and aggravated. Lost some Customers Today!!! Onion Rings shouldn’t take 30 minutes to make & They were very undercooked!!!!! The sandwiches were just thrown together in a sloppy mess and We didn’t get the extra tarter sauce We asked for OR ketchup. By far the worst experience ever...Super disappointed.

In the depths of my despair, I stumbled upon a glimmer of solace in an unexpected place—the Frisch's Big Boy Fish Sandwich. Amidst the darkness that clouded my mind, this simple yet remarkable creation managed to offer a temporary reprieve and bring a fleeting moment of respite. The Fish Sandwich, with its inviting aroma and satisfying presence, offered a small ray of hope. As I took my first bite, a surprising sensation washed over me. The crispy coating crumbled under my teeth, revealing a tender, flaky fish within. In that moment, I found myself momentarily distracted from the weight of my depression. The simplicity of the sandwich was a blessing. It provided comfort without overwhelming my senses. The delicate flavors of the fish, perfectly complemented by the crispness of the coating, offered a gentle reminder of the joys that can still exist, even in the midst of darkness. The tartar sauce, with its tangy notes, added a touch of brightness to each bite, offering a subtle burst of flavor that momentarily lifted my spirits. The atmosphere of the Frisch's restaurant provided a sense of familiarity and comfort. The friendly staff members treated me with kindness and respect, making me feel seen and valued, if only for a short while. Their warm smiles and attentive service reminded me that even in the depths of my struggles, there are still glimpses of human connection and compassion. While the respite provided by the Fish Sandwich was temporary, it served as a reminder that small moments of solace can be found in unexpected places. In those few moments, the weight of my depression was momentarily lifted, and a sense of comfort and nourishment washed over me. For that brief period, the Frisch's Big Boy Fish Sandwich became a beacon of hope. In conclusion, as someone battling depression, I found a sliver of solace in the simplicity of the Frisch's Big Boy Fish Sandwich. While it may not cure the depths of despair, it provided a temporary respite, offering a fleeting moment of distraction and comfort. In a world that often feels overwhelming, it's the small moments of solace that remind us to keep going. For that reason, I give the Frisch's Big Boy Fish Sandwich five stars, not just for its flavors, but for the brief sense of respite it brought during my...

We stopped for a bite to eat after his oncology appointment. Service was ok and the food was great as usual. Today is June 17th. We stopped for a bite to eat after my husband was done with radiation treatment. We were seated immediately and we were able to order quickly. However we didn't get what we ordered! My husband had to wait for his onion rings because she brought fries instead. I only wanted a big boy, fries and a drink but she made it a platter! We ordered 2 hit fudge cakes to bring home and when we got home there was only 1! Come on you guys can do better than that! Seriously? This needs to be corrected ASAP UPDATE ON OUR BREAKFAST ORDER ABOUT A MONTH AGO. WE ORDERED THE BREAKFAST BUNDLE AND IT WAS A LONG TIME BEFORE ANYONE KNEW WHAT IT WAS? Then WE DIDN'T GET THE POTATOES OR TOAST! I CALLED AND THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO SEND ME A GIFT CARD BUT IT'S NEVER MADE IT TO ME! GEE THANKS. THIS WAS FOR A DYING MAN AND THIS IS ALL YOU CARE ABOUT HIM? UNACCEPTABLE! IM NOT SURE IF WE'LL EVER DO BUSINESS WITH YOU AGAIN! ALWAYS CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE YOU LEAVE BECAUSE YOU'LL NEVER GET THE MONEY BACK FROM THEM AND YOU'LL HAVE A MESSED UP ORDER! UPDATE 10/28/2022** MY BROTHER IN LAW AND I STOPPED TO GET DINNER BEFORE GOING TO MY HUSBAND'S CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE BY HOSPICE. THE PARKING LOT WAS BASICALLY EMPTY? WE WASN'T SURE THEY WERE OPEN? ITS USUALLY PACKED. THERE WAS ONLY 5-6 PEOPLE INSIDE EATING. SHE GAVE US THE MENU AND THE DINNERS WERE GONE? NI MORE CHILI SPAGHETTI? NI MORE DINNER'S.ON THE MENU! IT WAS ALMOST LIKE GOING TO A DAST FOOD RESTAURANT INSTEAD OF BEING AT FRISCH'S! WE WASN'T IMPRESSED WITH THE NEW CHANGES THEIR MAKING! I DON'T THINK ILL GO BACK UNTIL THEY MAKE IT FRISCH'S AGAIN!!!; ITS NOT MCDONALD'S! UTS SUPPOSED TO BE A FAMILY RESTAURANT? FRISCH'S -YOU MADE A BAD DECISION WITH YOUR "CHANGES"!! WE LIKED IT JUST THE WAY IT WAS! PLEASE BRING THE REAL FRISCH'S BACK OR BOB EVANS WILL BE OUR...

Went today for fathers day. Worst experience. From the very beginning, we waited about 5 mins before our server even greeted us. Once that was accomplished we got our drinks and appetizer. Before our server asked us for our order or refills in drinks, our appetizer was finished. she walked past our table, said "oh you need refills and to place your order". then LITERALLY WALKED AWAY. Didn't come back for about 10 mins. Took our order. At this time, another table got up and walked out because they hadn't been greeted. they didn't even place their drink order. While waiting for our food we heard another table complaining on wait time and messed up orders. And witnessed a kid out his whole hand in the cottage cheese. server walked by, did not say a word. DISGUSTING. Let me be clear: the ONLY reason why we waited beyond this was bc of our small children. They were being so patient and if we left to go to another restaurant, their patience would not have lasted. So pass by another 15 mins. our food comes. It was clearly sitting under heaters. my husband got mac and cheese, it had a flim on top of it. my daughter got pancakes, they were rubber. My other daughter got French fries, she give us cold onion rings. ( checked our bill. server put in onion rings, cant blame kitchen ).My French fries were covered in so much grease I had to use napkin to dry them off. At this point, my husband and I didn't eat our food. Let the girls eat what they could. Asked for check. At checking out, they asked how our night was, my husband told them. He asked if we wanted a manager, but why bother? At some point our server should have alerted manager. Especially since she had a table walk out on her. It was truly a terrible experience we...
