1st timer here 08.23.25 I love Thai tea and this place is definitely serving authentic Thai Tea. They brew their thai tea in house. It isn’t overly sweet. I know some places makes their thai tea really sweet. They offer samples too for you to try their thai tea Drinks. Service is great and staff is really friendly. Offers more than just Thai tea drinks. Love the different dessert options. This use to be Vitacane Sugar Cane drink shop. Really clean shop with lots of tables and seatings indoor. A few patio/chairs right outside the Tea Shop. Came on a Saturday night around 9 pm. Located in a really busy plaza Fountain Valley Square next to California Shabu Shabu & Crumbl cookie.

This is where you can find a Thai tea flight. Eastern Tales actually started out operating out of a ghost kitchen last year, delivering gift boxes of Thai desserts like a Thai tea basque cheesecake and Thai-inspired drinks to your door, and I’m so happy to see the sweetest owner Toon and her husband open their brick-and-mortar store in Fountain Valley! They wanted to bring genuine Thai flavors from back home to SoCal, and you can definitely taste the love and authenticity in all their creations. Go and support this family-owned small business because they truly deserve all the love! Thanks for reading! ^-^

If you're a Thai tea lover, this place is a must visit. Their selection of Thai teas is not only visually stunning but also incredibly flavorful. I tried the Bangkok Thai Milk Tea and the Phuket.. they blew me away rich, creamy, perfectly sweet, and with a bold tea flavor that really hits. It's definitely on the stronger side, so if you love a good kick of authentic tea taste, this one's for you. The Bangkok breeze is also a fun and delicious twist with its vibrant purple hue and layered flavor. Overall, a great spot for high-quality, authentic Thai tea blends. Highly recommend!

First time patron. Ordered Thai tea shaved ice. Tasting pretty good! The ice is soft and tasting balanced. Not too sweet or bitter.

The grass jelly is icy though. Like ice cube kind of icy. This doesn’t seem normal.

Ice cream underneath the ice tastes excellent. Vanilla flavor, not much artificial flavoring. Feels little like mochi kind of texture.

Service, on the other hand, was HORRIBLE. We arrived this week on a Tuesday night 8:45pm, after learning that they close at 9pm. We entered the restaurant, and the blonde hair girl with glasses “greeted” us with a few of head shaking and a frustrated facial expression. No hello, no nothing. First sentence she said was “to go only”. To go is fine with us, we understand. Order taken, not much verbal communication. I was watching her making this shaved ice and I saw that the store was being prepped to close and equipment was being washed. She was so checked out already even though it’s not officially closed yet. The employee was then banging fridge doors loudly, most likely expressing her anger against a late arriving customer. The ice was made after probably 12 mins or so. Given her concerning behavior, I had to look at her the whole time so that I could make sure she didn’t spit in the food I ordered.

Unfortunately, 2 more customers arrived after 8:50pm, which added more frustration. I’m sorry that she had to still serve all of us, but if her boss told her that 9pm is the closing time, she is expected to serve customers until then.

Customer facing career is unlike some other careers such as office clerk where there is a more guaranteed time of leaving at work.

Bottom line: I will not recommend to anyone...

If you're looking for a new boba shop, or cafe to hang out with. This is the place, I have followed this shop from the 626 days all the way to their very own location. It is perhaps one of the best drinks that I have tried, and I continue to come every week. Hoping to try all the different varieties they have released, while the owners have also given me samples to my friends and me their very own bingsoo. Which I think compared to Sul & Beans is very rich in it's own flavoring, and not skimping out on any of the products.

I would highly recommend to give this place to try, and keep in mind that most milk tea's with boba don't taste that good after two hours. I would say the drinks make you more thirstier after a period of time if you let it sit, I personally recommend the Phuket, and Bangkok breeze, but even the pastries they served are of the utmost class.

I wait patiently as I watch this business grow, currently seating is not the best, and there's few charging ports so studying is a bit harsh, but ultimately what a cafe is, is to serve drinks, good food, and provide immaculate vibes. I'll be returning as a regular customer...
