Probably the best beef Pho in OC for my taste, a small hole in the wall with a door in a strip mall. Parking was easy.

They nail the broth just right, rich, tasty, full of beef aromas without overloads of the other spices in other shops, like star anise, cinnamon, cardamon, ginger, cloves ect. I flunk other Pho shops for using way too much unnecessary spices to mask malodors of their rotten meats and bones.

They have only 1 size Pho for $13.50, with current 15% discount, down to $12. They serve a free drink, also stamp a frequent diner card, buy 10 get 1 free.

There is plenty of meats in the bowl, may be more meats than noodle in volume. You can specify which cuts you want, rare filet, well done chuck, brisket, tendon, beef balls ect. They serve either fresh Pho or dried, recooked noodles. I always go for fresh noodles, squishing al dente in the mouth, additional sensation.

Their broth is rich and tasty, without too much sugar or MSG which cause bitter after taste like in other pho shops. I am a big eater. By the time I finished half a bowl, I wished the bowl was bigger. There seemed to be more meats and not enough noodle in the bowl, but at the end their bowl did fill my pho appetite for lunch.

I talked to the owner and chef, suggested they use less sugar to keep the broth even tastier, provide a sugar tub at tables for clients to adjust their sweetness level. They listened politely but not sure if they will heed my suggestion.

Parking was easy. As in other Viet and Chinese restaurants, diners have bad habit of talking loud, which is very annoying in this small place. We had to move away from a large group talking loud...

The Pho broth is rich and flavorful. We tried the Pho Tai ( steak) and Pho Tai Bo Vien ( steak & meat ball), and both were delightful, especially with the generous portions of fresh veggies. The meat was incredibly delicious—I'm not sure how they make it so good! The portion sizes are quite big, so you'll definitely leave feeling full and satisfied—definitely worth the price. They only offer one size bowl, making your choice simple. Although the place isn't as big as other pho spots, it has a cozy atmosphere that adds to the charm. There’s also plenty of parking, making it a convenient stop. Pho VH is a hidden gem, and I would love to share this treasure with all who love pho. The staff are incredibly friendly, making your dining experience even better.

With all the positive feedback we saw, we had to check it out, and it was worth it! Definitely recommend giving...

This new establishment is probably on the BEST Pho joints in OC. Super flavoursome, meats are excellent, the extra ribs in the soup are next level.

Com Tom was also the best I’ve had in OC. Traditional with excellent pâté and pork skin noodley things.

Lotus Jasmine tea was super good too, it’s the little touches that make it special. Too many places will serve burnt oolong for instance.

Only request is to do a small serve soup, like everywhere in America the server are (too) big, we’d be happy with regular portion like you’d get in Vietnam as an option.

This place is surprisingly good. Better than a bunch of the better know places...

The food is really good, no MSG, they gave a lot of meats (big portions). The price is cheaper than any other restaurants. The owners and workers there are super nice and friendly. Also, if you go to Pho VH and buy 10 bowls of food, they will give the next bowl for free. Free herbal drink too, yummy. The best part is you're going away from the Bolsa (Little Saigon) area & dont have to go against the crowd & traffic for quality food. My husband and I bought 2 dishes today, Pho & broken rice, and the owner gave us a big bone marrow for free. I would recommend for anyone who hasn't been here yet to come here to try it.
