Update after a year:
Signature drinks are still good, hits the spot every time despite the size.
The lid is still terrible and annoying to use.
Pourovers are a bit overpriced and it’s also quite small. I understand this may be a cultural thing to have small portions but compared to other cafes, it is relatively small and expensive. Surely they’re nice beans but other cafes also use nice beans.
Online ordering seems nice even though I have not tried. I believe you still have to wait a bit since they start making it once you get to the store.

Their coffee is good, even with no adjustment it’s not overly sweet or anything. Tried a few different drinks and they all pack a good punch in the respective flavor profiles.
Some notables are:
I wish they’d change out their plastic cup lid because it is trash. The part where you're supposed to drink out of has a piece of plastic that just hangs around and doesn't really come off easily either. Use better cups.
Size is def small and they give you plenty of ice while charging some hefty prices. Even the drinks that come in bigger cups are small and filled half way with ice. I know a coffee shop across the bridge that has a much more reasonable price/quantity ratio and just as good. Honestly feels like Phuc Long situation all over again.
So far, no online ordering but I think this will be enabled soon enough.
As far as the small drinks go, I think they should either give more or charge less because it really is just a...
Read moreThis was probably the store that actually takes their time to make their matcha The Artisan way which is heating up the water to a certain temperature letting the matcha powder Bloom and stirring it with a traditional matcha Japanese whisk. If you get any of their specialty variations, you can notice that the Barista does take their time and as the little details I'm sure a matcha snob or coffee snob would notice. Ever since I went to this place, I've noticed how many businesses make their matcha, it could be as basic as adding a ambiguous green powder from a bulk bin to using large batched pre-made matcha liquid in a container that they use for their drinks. I just like the fact that they made it individually and you could see it. It did take longer to make so be patient with them since they're store is likely not the type that you just grab and go. Lots of seating places to study and meet with...
Read moreThis coffee shop was highly recommended by a friend, prompting us to give it a try. Visiting on a Sunday around 2 pm, we were pleasantly surprised to find no line, making our experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere of the cafe is modernized and aesthetically pleasing, creating a welcoming vibe for customers. We opted for the Black Sesame Matcha and Marble Latte, both of which tasted delicious and lived up to our expectations. Although there was a small hiccup where our drinks were initially given to other customers, the staff quickly rectified the mistake and provided us with fresh drinks. Despite the minor issue, we left satisfied and eager to return to Re Ca Phe to explore more of their...
