There is another Sizzler not far from this location. I've never been to this one, though. I thought it was going to be just like the other one. This one is actually a little fancier and seems cleaner. It was a pleasant surprise. I usually go just for the salad bar because that should be enough food for me. Besides having spinach, Romaine and the regular iceberg lettuce, there are other things you can add to your salad like peas, carrots, beets, egg, etc. There are several different salad dressing. Besides the basic thousand island and ranch, they also have French dressing and balsamic. They have three types of soup: clam chowder, chicken noodle and vegetable beef. They have a couple of premixed salads like the spinach cranberry salad, jicama salad, potato salad and macaroni salad. They also have spaghetti with meatball sauce as part of their salad bar. In addition to that, they also have a taco and Nacho bar. You can choose from the hard shell tacos or two types of soft tortillas--corn or flour. And get this: they have something like battered chicken tenders or something that's part of the salad bar. And, you can get unlimited cheese toast fresh from the servers. They'll come around and ask you. Imagine all that is all you can eat. Not bad, Sizzler! Don't forget to tip the servers. They do a good job of clearing your table and giving you brand new plates. And, my glass of water was...
Read moreSo I'm not from the city I am from Anaheim so the one I normally go to is one off beach in orangethorp this one I figured would be a nice one but it was let down. The restaurant itself is pretty big It looks nice inside it's funny when you go to the cashier you see a TV behind them you normally would see the menu from the other sizzlers I've been to but it was interesting just weird watching a football game behind the register so looking at a menu or something else The food was mediocre at best we asked for medium rare I got well done I have time to just tell them to change it because it takes time rather just eat my food I had the steak shrimp and Malibu trio The mustard sauce for My chicken was not really mustardy it was mostly white normally it's like a yellowish color to it which made me feel like it was something else the baked potato I had tasted ok My wife smell she said hers was not that great or not that tasty she had the shrimp skewers with steak as well and her steak was also well done instead of medium rare but again and I feel like telling the waiter to bring us another steak and have it to wait an extra 10 minutes to eat! Would I go here again most likely not I'll stick to the one in Anaheim or Lake Forest this one and fountain valley is a pass for sure! One last thing that cheese toast they give you is not as good as it used to be...
Read moreThe hubs and I hadn’t eaten at a Sizzler in 25+ years when we were kids but the whole family has been missing Souplantation like crazy so we googled salad bars and Sizzler had great reviews! So off we went. We were pleasantly surprised by the choices: salad with all the fixings, pasta salads, potato salad, 4 kinds of soup, jello, pudding, fruit and the hot bar had make your own ground beef tacos, or nachos with all the fixings. Also they had spaghetti with sauce and meatballs, fried chicken wings and fried green beans. The dessert bar was chocolate and vanilla soft serve with Oreos, m&ms, sprinkles and fresh ooey gooey delicious brownies. The kids had enough to choose from and were full when we left. I also ordered a steak and baked potato that came medium rare just as I ordered and perfectly seasoned. Cheese toast is the same as I remember it and it’s brought fresh to the table. The servers were attentive and the food at the salad bar was replenished quickly - our only wish would be for the items to be labeled. All in all we enjoyed our meal. We...
