Update
Robert Griego (General Manager) reached out to me and my wife and apologized for our unpleasant previous experience. He invited us out to their first steak night dinner and had a table ready for us near the steak station. Our waitress was nice and accommodating. Thanks to Mr. Griego, we will be returning customers!

Terrible, terrible, terrible, did I mention terrible all-you-can-eat dining experience at this buffet, and it started soon as we checked in with the cashiers. We walked into three cashiers talking really loud amongst themselves, and they all seemed bothered that we interrupted their conversation. This should have been a sign to run as far away from this place as possible! Especially since it was not busy, no one was in line, and there were several empty tables. We begrudgingly paid the $95 and some change since we already made the long 45-minute drive to get there, and this was our first visit since the renovation.
Another sign for us to run away from this place as far away as possible was the fact that there were several empty tables. Other than me and my wife, we may have seen 6 or 8 people dining in. Prime rib night is every Friday evening. Mind you, this is a big place that seems equipped to seat up to 100 or more people. Also, why was it slow on prime rib dinner night? Again, there was probably a reason for this, and his name is Lorenzo.
If this place is promoting prime rib dinner night, you think management would want someone serving the prime rib to be friendly, courteous, respectful, and helpful? Right? Wrong! We said good evening to Lorenzo, and we were ignored. Thinking that he may not have heard us, we asked how his evening was going, and he ignored us again. He just gave us an eye roll, then ungracefully handed us our prime rib. When we sat back down at our table, our waitress asked how we were doing, and I told her about how rude Lorenzo treated me and my wife. She insisted on getting a manager sent to our table to hear our concerns. When the manager greeted us, we explained our terrible experience at the prime rib station with Lorenzo and how he seemed to not want to be there. The manager defended him, saying he was probably just having a bad day. From someone who had previously worked in customer service for over 10 years, this is complete bulljive! I get it and understand we all have bad days. However, when someone has to greet you twice, you still say nothing, give an eye roll, that is rude and unprofessional!! Even on my bad days, I would still acknowledge the customer, and the greetings would be reciprocated.
We feel this manager escalated this situation for the worst and said he would talk to Lorenzo. We highly doubt he would talk to him, considering, after the manager left our table, he did not walk directly to the prime rib station. Instead, the manager walked in the opposite direction from the prime rib station, making us feel he did not listen or care about our concerns. Guess there was no sense in urgency. We can only assume the manager was going to wait later on in the evening to talk with Lorenzo or not talk to him at all.
Our waitress was nice and asked us how our conversation with the manager went. At this point, we were still frustrated and disappointed with Lorenzo and the manager. All we could tell her was thank you for being hospitable, but we will not be returning to this place...
Read moreThe food was OK. I questioned the temperatures of certain food items and was concerned seeing sushi kept in an area that didn't seem cold like the shrimp was. Most of the food is extremely salty and overcooked. The pork belly had gone bad, the eggrolls were terrible, the tamales over cooked, the prime rib bland and luke warm, sausage wasn't hot when served, barbecue chicken wings were literally drowning in sauce (looked like soup), a ton of food looked like it had been sitting for hours, and sadly golden corral and royal buffet both seem to have better food temperature controls. Especially royal buffet since I've seen staff constantly checking the food there, and didn't seem to be done regularly here. This was disappointing for paying $35 dollars a person and is just not worth it. Go somewhere where the food is good and the staff don't look lost half the time. I get the staff are trying their best, and I feel like a lack of supervisor support may be the reason why things were rough when checking in. Has a long way to go before it even comes close to being a good price for the service and food that is...
Read moreWe went n Friday April 4th 2025. The food quality was not worth $59.99. Let’s start with the Roast beef, the roast was so so dry and tasteless (no season) that I had to cut it with a knife and soak it in auju just to eat it. Onion rings were cold, breaded shrimp was decent but also cold. Taco meat was dry and tasteless. Salad bar where crab salad, chicken salad and grape salad were at was all dried out. Tomatoes were slimy and romaine lettuce was browning. Egg rolls had a very weird taste and super dry. Fried chicken was even more dry than roast beef. Ok so you all get the picture! The quality of the food was terrible! The service was great! Of course we left a good tip. But not all servers seemed to enjoy what they do. Many of them were sitting at margarita bar area on stools just relaxing like they were not at work. Very unprofessional. Hostess was on her phone. Cashier was not knowledgeable on how to run card for a tip. Many of the cooks/chefs were standing around with nothing to do. I was very open and honest to our waitress about the food. Her service was great and she apologized but we will NEVER eat at this...
