I rarely issue a 1 star reviews and it takes a lot to get it. Primarily because there are so many facets to an "overall review". The food of course should be the top of the list and the food provided was suitable to good. Another aspect is table service, our young server was wearing well used street cloths while other server were wearing white shirts/black pants. Our server also stated that she was new. The food was delivered to our table in a timely manner and hot. In addition, the men's restroom was in poor condition, floors dirty and wet. Wash basin was dirty as well. Urinal and toilet was dirty. With that said, this was not the primary for my 1 star review. That reason was the apparent female manager-in-charge. Zero interactions with our table, angry, obstinate and loud in her Chinese language interaction with her employees. But the topper to the review was the fact that she was physically sick and gave no attempt to hide it. Constantly drawing up big gross luggies/yellow spit from her chest and then slowly relieving such aka as phlegm biohazard waste in a nearby trash can. It was loud and GROSS at the highest levels. She'd spit in the trash, in front of all the staff and customers. She could have gone to the back room, restroom and/or outside but felt the behavior needed a captive audience. In addition, there was a small girl sitting in another booth who was a member of the family/staff and who was also not happy with her surroundings and made that discomfort painfully known by her breath-taking screams. No one from the staff interacted with her unhappiness. Again salty food quality 3 stars, server 2 stars (she tried her best), facilities 2 stars and the angry sick manager minus 5 stars. Thus, my rare 1 star review. It's obvious by the employees behaviors that no one is loving there job. Even though we are just passing through we will never revisit this...
Read moreSorry to say not a fan. Family lives near by and she said it was good. We went with little to be desired. As a child I used to work in my mothers deli's, car washes, shaved ice and beauty pagents is why the next comment is why I feel the way I do. As children we must be respectful and act professionally, if not then we don't come out of the back. Their was 2 family owners breaking off snap peas in the front dinning table area with a 2 or 3 yr old child. No one was using gloves. The child was all over the place while even iterupting lightly when the gentleman was asking about our order. I also believe there may have been a little communication between the different nationalities or the waiter acted as if he could care less. The food had no flavor to me and my guest. Plus when guest specified 3x she liked crunchy noodles in the meal chosen they came out soft and oily. Then she mentioned crunchy noodles the waitress then gave her a small plate of uncooked, dry crunchy noodles to use as a topping. I personally will not go back after seeing all the views that I did that day. Sorry for being...
Read moreMy husband and I used to visit almost every week, either to dine there or to get food to go. My favorite dish was their shrimp with vegetables that came with brown brice and a spring roll. After almost two years of regular weekly visits, things changed for the worse. The vegetables that I had enjoyed so much now came swimming in a pool of vegetable juice and the rice was also grossly overcooked and sticky. I told the servers about it and they refused to admit I was right. When I told them the rice was overcooked they simply (and rudely) said : "No, it is not". As we had been dining there for so long, we decided to give them (and us) one more chance so we went back to order food to go. We were right. Once again the veggies were soaking wet and the rice was so sticky that it formed gooey clusters. The servers change frequently, speak very little English and sometimes it is a hassle to make ourselves understood and understand them. The food has changed so much that, sadly, we will...
