Overall: Mostly inedible. Sad. Ribs was once great. Food quality and attention to detail has declined greatly. We've been going to Ribs since 1999 and through the years their quality has been top notch. The last three meals have been pathetic, and like in baseball three strikes and you're out. We're definitely not going back. If it wasn't a to go order I would have sent it back. The once great ribs were dry and burnt... not smoked.. burnt fat and gristle. Except for one piece the brisket was a slab of fat (see picture). The once juicy sausages were dry. The pulled pork was barely ok. The plow shares (onion wedges) and tractor tires (jalapeño rings) no longer live up to their name. Now they're burnt sticks with batter (see picture). The Ribs I once knew is no longer there, and the restaurant that is in its place isn't worth driving to any more.

I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the ribs were at Ribs! This was our first time visiting and none of us needed boxes to take food home because we ate it all! The ribs really were fall-off-the bone AND they were almost all meat with very little fat/gristle. My only real "complaint" is that I would've liked bigger portions for the sides. You can't really see in the picture but I only got a tiny bowl full of green beans, and they were very under seasoned (the same for my boyfriend's okra portion and seasoning). But overall, I would definitely recommend this place and we will be going back!

Their Pit BBQ is slow cooked and smoked on site and is delicious and tender. My favorite is the slab of ribs (1/2 slab shown in photo) and their BBQ sauce is perfect. Try their JoJo potatoes, also quite good. Service is good and friendly. Unfortunately, my last visit there, they were playing a recording of bluegrass music, with nothing but banjo for the entire hour we were there. I don't mind some bluegrass, but an hour of nothing but banjo music was too much for us.

They were crowded but we were seated right away. The atmosphere was good, the waitress was very good. This was mother's day...so why three stars? The food. We ordered the ribs. They weren't terrible, but they weren't good either. We got the half rack with a side dish. My spouse is a carnivore and we have never had ribs where they did not finish all of them. They usually eat a full rack, but that day we had a hike to do and we didn't want to be too full. So we both got the half rack. Neither of us finished them. They were tough and came precut already. They also came with the rub on them and the sauce on the side. Please do not get me wrong, the taste was not horrible. It's just that we were expecting the ribs on the rack still together, tender and lathered in sauce. Sauce on the side is fine but we like sauce on the ribs ahead of time and cooked a little with it to infuse the flavor. We also like tender ribs. These were tough. Really tough. We like to rip apart our ribs and get all messy up to our elbows in sauce. Now let me be fair and clear, if you like rub still on your ribs and the sauce on the side with your ribs precut, then I highly suggest you go here. Because like I said, the taste was not horrible, it just wasn't what we were hoping for. We assumed it would be served intact with sauce all over. It wasn't. The only other complaint is they need more Angry Orchard options. They had the apple flavor, but the most popular is the rose. So having more than one option would be nice especially since a lot of people do not like Apple juice but nearly everyone likes mixed...

Ribs Great! Sides Disappointing... Went to Ribs for lunch, first visit. We ordered the rack of ribs which comes with two sides and Texas toast. It was just right for two people. The ribs were cooked just to the point where they are tender and come easily off the bone when you bite in. Perfect! They were meaty, fatty and had excellent hickory smoked flavor. They come unsauced so you can taste the meat and the smoke. They’re not dry so you don’t need the sauce. That said, the sauce is excellent! You’ll want to lick it off your fingers! It’s just the right balance of tangy, spicy and a just a tad sweet. Now, the sides... another story. The jojo fries are thick cut and coated in a spiced batter. They were over cooked, dry and too much batter. The sauce of the Mac and cheese was sort of Clumpy and not at all creamy, plus it was served barely Luke warm. I’d go back for the ribs and try the brisket, but they need to up their game on the...

We are a repeat customer- went there for Father’s Day. Service was excellent! Food however was extremely disappointing, I believe I was served a prefab chicken fried steak, pre fab steak potatoes, and the salad was iceberg lettuce with only one cherry tomato and two pieces of baby spinach. My husband ordered a high dollar entree of catfish and ribs. The catfish was full of bones and rubbery, and the ribs had only a little meat on top with the rest fat and gristle- almost no meat at all - each piece was like that. His favorite part was the beans! We are so sorry to give this review because we have had a much better experience in previous visits to this establishment. We are thinking that frozen pre fab foods are used during this pandemic to avoid potential waste of fresh products if demand is low. $85 bucks (including wine) for a lousy meal is sad. I can buy frozen potatoes and meat at the grocery story - I expected...
