I'd never stopped here myself to get coffee but always had co-workers or friends stop by here. I ordered a lavender latte and it was wonderful as well as a gluten-free coconut macaroon. I wish there were more options for gluten-free, but I understand it isn't feasible or affordable for small coffee shops to have a wide selection. The coffee was at a great temperature and was wonderful. I was a little confused by a $0.75 upcharge if you wanted an iced version of a drink, as it isn't much more work nor extra costs that are prohibitive for a business. I worked in a small coffee shop during college and it was just as much time to prepare cold as hot drinks, we even used iced coffee cubes to prevent dilution.

The drive-thru line was fairly slow, which is the deduction of my star. I waited over 30 minutes and had I realized how long the line would have been, it would have been better for me time-wise and environmentally wise to not run my car waiting.

Overall a great place. I also appreciate that when visiting smaller places like this, I am much less likely to get dairied by accident and spend the rest of my day...

2022 update!

Cabra continues to improve their product and I am happy to say I visit here at least once a week for a small drip coffee.

Coffee flavor has become significantly better (or my taste buds have changed). I love this place and the fact that they continue to improve and listen to customers means a lot. A+

2021:

I actually really like this place. It's chill, they have free wi-fi, and there's nothing like a Duke of Earl on a snowy morning.

Comments:

  1. Stick to the espresso drinks as the milk helps mask the overly acidic roast they use for all the coffee.

  2. I am still puzzled about whether they actually offer a "nitro" cold brew (as stated by one of the baristas) or not. The two times I've ordered "nitro" cold brew, I've received what looks like coffee...

My daughters and I tried this place for the first time a few months ago. It's amazing! The coffee is fabulous and they make their own chai fresh and use natural lavendar sweetener in it if you ask - SO good. We have also tried the blueberry muffins and the breakfast burrito - both are delicious and the burrito is wrapped in a tortilla made fresh that day, which really steps the overall quality up a notch. We've had very efficient and super friendly service at every visit. In particular, we tend to go on the weekend and have gotten to know one of the regular weekend workers, Kaley. She is an A+++ and goes above and beyond - she even writes positive notes on my bags of ground coffee I get to...

yum! i love the hiking trail right next to cabra, so i’ve been coming here a lot. the drive thru is very convenient, and they accept apple pay (lifesaver when i leave my wallet at home lol) coffee is definitely on the lighter side, which is fine by me. cold brew is refreshing and slightly acidic, and when i ask for caramel it never overpowers the drink. breakfast burritos with red chile are the bomb, and everyone here is very very nice. thank you, cabra!

Wow! A perfect gem of a coffee shop. Best scones and a perfect blueberry muffin. Friendly, tasty, clean and a pleasant space. 2022 update. We camped nearby to have our morning coffee here. It is funny to plan a cross country route based on excellent coffee shops. Fun walking/biking trail at the end of the parking lot. 2023 update. No longer artistic plates and porcelain mugs- paper cups. Too bad.
