This place is AWESOME! My wife and I stopped in a beekeeping store that's just down street. When I was checking out I asked the owner where we should eat. He told us to eat at this Mexican place. If he hadn't recommended it I never would have stopped there, but WOW! The food is delicious! There's no indoor seating. They serve the food through a window and there are some picnic tables in front where you can eat. Look at the pics of the menu I posted. The food is cheap! And did I say it's delicious?!?!?!? The food was so cheap that I bought way more than I could eat. But then I ate it anyway. I got a steak quesadilla, a steak taco, and a braised beef taco. The braised beef was amazing! I wish I had gotten that on the quesadilla. My wife got a marinated pork quesadilla, which was also delicious, but when I go back, which I definitely will, I'm getting a braised beef quesadilla and probably a steak taco. Oh yeah... we also got the nachos with cheese and jalapenos. They were OK, and for $5 they were a steal, but the chips aren't homemade like everything else they serve. They were fine, and we ate most of them, but that was the only thing that was so-so (hint to the owners: when I was a teenager I worked at a little Mexican place in New Mexico. We made our tortilla chips fresh by cutting corn tortillas into 6 pieces, deep frying them, then sprinkling them with seasoned salt. They were awesome. They would be a big upgrade to your chips, and probably cheaper to make. Try it!). Unfortunately this restaurant is only open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. But if you're driving on I-95 on one of those days, you should definitely stop there. You won't regret it. And if you live anywhere nearby, I'm sure you know how good this place it.

YUM YUM YUM! Me & my siblings decided to come here for a late supper & we were definitely not disappointed! The food was EXCELLENT. We got a little bit of everything. Two chicken quesadillas, one beef quesadilla, one chicken taco & a mocha milkshake. (Milkshake was a solid 100/10) The atmosphere is so pleasant. Nice music not too loud, umbrellas over the picnic tables, & pretty lights strung about — only downside about the atmosphere is it IS right beside the road. The service is beyond nice here also. 100% would recommend. :)

I’m a local who has eaten tacos from coast to coast and I know what makes a good taco. These are good but not great, the meats themselves don’t have a lot of flavor. If you’re in the area absolutely stop in, but if you’re in Smithfield, Raleigh, Clayton area there are definitely better options for you. Service was fine and friendly and they have a small but nice outdoor seating area.

I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening of Antojitos Tapatios, and it was a delightful experience! The authenticity of their Mexican cuisine truly stood out. Their chicken and steak tacos were impeccably prepared, bursting with flavor from fresh ingredients and the perfect amount of seasoning. The sauce was soooo amazing and added an extra layer of deliciousness to the meal. The service was attentive and welcoming, contributing to the overall enjoyable atmosphere. For those seeking genuine and delicious Mexican food, I highly recommend giving Antojitos...
