Must try all sushi places I see so stopped in at Kuwa Sushi. Sat at the sushi bar and greeted the chef. I didnt open the menu yet, but I wanted something right away. I asked for a spicy Tako roll. It went like this: "Id like a spicy tako roll" 'what?' "Spicy Tako Roll" He looked perplexed and said - 'no taco, just sushi' - and he points to the fish cuts on the counter. I almost busted out laughing 🤣. The hostess comes and tells me they dont have Tako. The place is nice and clean. Ordered 1 roll - dissected the roll to eat the pieces individually - before eating them whole. Fish seemed fresh enough. Rice could use work - it was on the harder side. Overall, the roll was made well w good flavor. Ill have to come back and try other things....

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! NEVER coming back. When my 10 year old daughter politely told the server that she didn’t like her Thai iced tea and asked for a Diet Pepsi the server snapped back and said “No! We don’t do substitutions!” I reiterated that we didn’t ask for a substitution nor for it to be free…..we just want another beverage for my daughter. Thankfully we were the only ones in the restaurant and she was quite loud and condescending.
The food is mediocre at best. The spicy crispy tuna rice was overcooked and shrimp tempura tasted as though it had been sitting out then microwaved. Jewel and Mariano’s have better sushi...

I bought a groupon for this place because I wanted to try them out. Spent $15 for a $30 worth of food that said it was for dine in or pick up. When I called to order food they said they would not honor it for pickup even though it was in the fine print and I asked to speak to the manager and she was not helpful and rude. I was excited to try this place out but will never come here and will tell others as well , as they screwed me out of $15 and were not willing to work with me.
